Dear All, This is just to make u cautious that SGVO may check your LinkedIn , Facebook and Twitter Profile for background checking.

Usually most of the background checking responsibility is handed over to third parties which can includes employer verification/police clearance confirmation etc. So who have these Social website profiles are suggested to sync with ur application provided job designation (or "make Invisible to Everyone" on privacy settings).

SGVO totally refused/neglected all of MI-3 applicants. We have neither MR nor IP nor documents request. Only we have one constant line i.e.
1. We received your appl for PR on -.-.2011/2012. Whearas......Now t

We r may be in their choice for 2015/16.......

From 2008 to 2013-September..............(In Person @ SGVO)

Total Application Received: 15456
Total Processed: 9264
Total Withdrawn: 1410
Total Pending: 4762

If visa target of SGVO is 2180 in 204 then it will take 2+ years to complete all. If any MI-3 friends/brothers r desired to go to Canada then it would better to apply Nova Scotia PNP program. It will be faster then rest of MI-3.

Dear Alamgir vai, though i dont have much idea on the annual statistic report of CIC. But I have some confusion regarding the pending cases of FSW that u mentioned is 4762. Below are my observation which make me confused about the figure:

1. CIC has dismissed all 2008 before applications by law.

2. As per forum stat, almost MI-1 at 2009-10 FSW cases has cleared.

3. CIC introduced CAP on MI-2 at 2010-11 for first time and as per forum stat, almost 2 third has finished.

4. For MI-3 at 2011-12 (also with CAP) almost over half done .

5. on 2012-13 opening was paused.

6. Now in 2013-14 CAP was very limited to 5000 with additional obstacles (with IELTS 6.0 each band , ECA and others ).

So should it not be less pending for Federal skilled cases on SGVO? Any idea for clearing my confusion?

Made a little analysis on the Permanent Resident Summary by Mission.

If u made the total pending cases based on the below link's report, then i will say - Is there any chance that u have calculated all Permanent Residents count?

http://data.gc.ca/data/en/dataset/fd6f93ed-6249-42a4-ac30-5a1a7aa48389

Bcoz maximum inputs are here given for Permanent Resident (by default).

Just to remember that SGVO quota 2180 allocation is only for Federal skill category not for all Permanent Resident

Permanent Resident is included : Federal skill category, Federal Trade category, Provincial nominee program etc. And for the Provincial nominee program--it has significant no. of pending applicant on SGVO, in my opinion.

Lastly its really too tough- atleast for me to find out only "Federal skill category" pending cases by filtering from the report.

If my above statement is right, then may be no. of Federal skill category" should be far from 4762.

Which will be a good news for all.

Dear Forum Mates,

A fully furnished 02 bed room Apartment near Scarborough city centre is available for 03 and half months.
Its fresh with everything (cooking utensils, 02 beds, sofa, store, freeze, microwave, mixer, cooker and oven and a full toilet).
Its at 7th floor with fantastic hill views. Its available from 1st June to 15th September exactly.

It would be good for new comers with kids, and those who want to invest on furnitures and stuffs after settling a while.
And for those who dont want to pay 6 months rent as deposit advance. If anyone is interested, for further closer look browse 5600 Sheppard avenue east, M1B 2L4 in google maps.
you can have street views. Its just 10 mins (1 bus directly, no 134) away from Scarborough city centre (Major hub for LRT trains) and near a Mosque (Nugget mosque and Muslim centre),
a kindergarten (5 mins walk), a high school 10 mins walk, city library opposite the building, a big halal grocery (mecca halal), a halal restaurant, hair cutting salon, phone shop and
a convenience store at the ground floor. Food basic, Family drug mart, dollarrama, Centennial college, YMCA etc. are round the corner (across the street, look at google earth).

Issues: the standard rent my sister pays is 1160 Dollars/month , but as she is travelling to Bangladesh for that period and dont wish to discontinue the rental agreement,
she is upto for a short term rent and asking 700 CAD/ month. (all inclusive) thats 2450 CAD in total for the entire period (3.5 months).
I live in the same building 3rd floor along with quite a few Bangladesh neighbours around me.

If anyone interested mail me at:
hhasan@bracu.ac.bd or call me +1-416-669-1978.

Kind regards, shumon

1. Is true.

2. A lot of MI-1 still ending out of this forum. We dont know the percentage

3. 62% MI-2 applicants still waiting for visa according to forum
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoyA8DHLOafBdGNrT3VRWDZIOGFOLUtlOU9Yb3g3R3c#gid=0

4. 66% MI-3 applicants still waiting for MR.

So if u count total then it is seen huge no. applications r in SGVO.

Yes I have counted only FSW (C-50 who applied after/on 2008 to till now). If u open the sheet then select by year & Federal skilled workers (C50).

You can notify by mail/CSE. But the best thing is to send the required forms directly ASAP(without waiting/ asking):

1.additional dependant form with
2. 150 CAD bank draft
3. With a cover letter mentioning your new born child addition.
4. Child Birth Certificate

Finally courier to the follwoing address :

IMMIGRATION SECTION
HIGH COMMISSION OF CANADA
One George Street #11-01,
SINGAPORE 049145

Thank you so much. Just get the birth certificate. ;D

what's the maximum & minimum time required to get back the passports from vfs, Dhaka??
any one??

Really upset. Already passed 2 years last week from the date of PER. Nothing heard from SGVO. See no sign in near future. Around 1.6 Y passed no further MI-3 IP/MR from SGVO. It's a record I think.

Sent CSE on 4th-March-2014. This is my 3rd CSE. No reply.

Again Ordered GCMS today. I know blank report will come like before. What's that. What's the problem if I wait for any positive update. Though chance I see 1%. 50% chance for 2015. And 100% chance for 2016. Let's see.......

May Allah bles us all..............

SGVO officially confirmed that they have started processing of our FSW13 application... :D

Got below reply today from SGVO upon my asking (in general query) for processing delay/discrimination.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

The Singapore visa office is currently putting into process applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category which were received in 2013. As soon as an officer has completed the eligibility review of each application, the applicant will be contacted directly with instructions to complete the next steps in the process. Applicants are requested to wait to be contacted by our office.

We hope this information will be of assistance.

Sincerely,

If this calculation is ok (I guess FSW13 applicants should not cross over 300 from SGVO/whatever--even if this number is double for FSW13), definitely this is a good thing that almost all SGVO FSW applicant should be cleared by 2014... ;D
