Hey. I have a query on behalf of a friend. Can anyone tell me;

a)is it possible to make bank draft (of initial application money- $550) from standard chartered bank, even if one doesn't hold an account there?
b)what are the required documents needed by the bank officials?

Thanks for sharing experience.

Dear Munna Bhai, anyone can bankdraft from SCB even he has no scb a/c. He has to take the application form with him

I think, to make a bank draft you need not to have an own account in SCB. You have to take photocopy of Passport , Application for permanent residence in Canada and money. If you are applying with your spouse then you also need the photocopy of your spouse's passport. You can keep your original passport at the time of doing bank draft.

Dear Munnabd,

You can make the foreign bank draft from SCB without having a account there. You need to give them your passport, the fee payment form and equivalent Bangladesh Taka to make the draft. They are pretty conversant with this process.
