thanks for ur reply. i also received my AOR from CIO after three months my application received in canada. now three months passed my ecas status still shows" we received ur application for permanent resident on october 28, 2011" and have not heard anything from SVO.

Be patience my friend. to my knowlegde, SGVO is busy with the backlog as instucted by Minister Kenny. Your Ecas should show "We begin to process ur application on XXXX" soon.

newborn are u alone in ur app or u have dependent with u? im just thinking maybe joyeta applied without any other memeber bec his application soo fast and he is the only one who had that status

ok.. hope that medical is on the way then.. for me no update in ecas ... its been 20days....
i hope that it will change to we started processing like yours....

I think SVO takes much time to do background check because Indian vo has large number of applicants but doing so fast.
Why IVO is so fast?
Probably they have adequate man power and Delhi office can do bcak ground check easily.

It is difficult to come from Singapore to Bangladesh or other country regularly. so they do it after certain interval say for every two month or three month.

I guess only don,t know the real.
How many Bangladeshi got the message:We begin to process your application ....
Pl post your ideas why SVO is so slow?
I want to make a table for Singapore office applicants;

I agree SGVO spends much more time in background check.
As I have mentioned the approval rate in SGVO is extremely low (~46%) after PER, that means SGVO has identified many fabricated applications in background check. This will make it more strict in background check processing, and of cause taking longer processing time.
