It took about a week after it got there, we should be getting passport back maybe tomorrow or Wednesday
I'd say a total of 3 1/2 weeks from when we sent it to the VAC in NYC from them sending it to IRCC, back to the VAC in NYC and then to us.
I was referring to GCKEY, sorry for not being specific. Nothing updated on ECAS after DM.

Thanks so much for the information, we will be keeping an eye out for updates. We sent the passport through vac Nicaragua om the 15th and according to the email notifications it was received at ircc office on the 20th. We would not be more excited for this to be over soon.

Hi all,

Our file just got transferred to Mexico (no AOR 2 yet). The weird thing is we received and completed biometric request but we haven’t received a medical request yet. Is this normal or something to worry about? Also, there is zero information on ECAS other than that they received our application in August.

if you have "We have started processing .. blabla" is started there... seems not everyone receive AOR2,.

Yes, sounds like it based on the email, that it's only canceled if we don't attend, I was not expecting this today

No notes at all from the PR side of the application apart from date of receipt at the Sydney intake office. Biometrics number was updated after the test was done, but that’s it. Sponsorship has been approved and we got an e-mail saying the application is being transferred to Mexico, but no medical request yet...

I've emailed them directly at Mexico after 3, 4 weeks of transfer and asked what's happening with my app cause i didn't received any AOR nor ECAS We started processing.... and the next day my app was started. (still awaiting AOR2 tho) but it's started.

but feels like your app been transferred fast there for doing a whole BGC

They have updated the profile with the counterfoil number and all looks good so far, just waiting to get it back with COPR!!!

We sent the passport on 11/15 for reference if anyone is wondering.

I was worried about this too, because we were 9 months in and hadn't received the medical request yet. My husband's application was transferred to Mexico Oct 21st, and we finally received the medical request on Nov 8th. Nothing to be worried about!

Hi all,

So kind of a bad experience even though the application is approved. Waiting on my wife's COPR because unfortunately the Mexico VO made the mistake of never updating my mailing address. I submitted a Webform, send them a reminder through e-mail more than once, and they even asked me to provide proof that I was back in Canada, yet they failed to update the address every time.

So what happens is that I sent the PPR documents to CPC Ottawa, and followed their directions stricltly for the section of what I'm supposed to do if the applicant is in Canada, and lo and behold they not only ignored the letter that I attached, but also wrote on top of the pre paid express post envelope that I sent with my current address, and tried to forward it to my old one which was in the US. So obviously, Canada Post returned it because the envelope was a regional one only.

In any case after being on the phone with CIC many times, they finally updated my address. Lesson learned is that even though my application was OUTLAND, I should have called CIC directly and followed the prompts for inald application (it's the only way to get ahold of them really), because they do update any information in real time through the phone and they seem to be more helpful (or maybe they just felt bad for me).

I'm hoping that after doing what they requested they are able to resend back the COPR, but it's been a frustrating month after everything was going so smoothly

I'm on the same boat!

My husband got the letter saying we got transferred to Mexico, but medicals are not done, and we sent in biometrics early November.
