Basically saying having expectations toward them honorate their own promise is a bad thing as most probably it won't happen. I just wanna get rid of this process and forget this experience seriously lol
I’m saying that the progress bar was nothing but a tool that counted days for us lol . It was useless but hey they used that budget money haha
To be honest I found it of no use , I find gc key of no use either because it doesn’t update at all for me . Even uploading documents there was a struggle , I use the web form or email the VO

not everyone will meet the 12 month timeline because most of us here have spouses from a country that requires a visa . No other way to explain it except that if your spouses country is not part of the commonwealth or has a deal with Canada you are going to wait and you will be scrutinized . It’s the way it is and if you go in expecting it , you won’t be disappointed

yeah but a lot think that it's an estimation so it can "skip weeks" depending on the real advancement, wished the system to be with that technology but we are far from it even the lil updates has troubles to be shown on gckey lol

pouhahha
its back!!

Estimated remaining processing time: 15 Week(s)
Processing time
Date received: February 19, 2019
Estimated completion date: February 19, 2020

Can only imagine all the calls they got on it lol

My GCKey has never updated since the medical request, and ecas really doesn't give me any more information. I think you are absolutely right if you know what you are expecting we won't be disappointed. I assume my husband will need an interview as he is from the Dominican. We have 14 days left but I know that is not realistic at this point. So I guess at the year I will request an update.

That’s exactly what you should expect . If you go in expecting it , then it’s not a big surprise . The truth is I have not seen many in the last year that are from the DR not have an interview . We went in expecting it because of one red flag , guess what we are in queue and can show them that they can stuff that red flag lol
Hang in there I pray you get your ppr and no interview

Well the progress bar is back up everyone so for those who found it helpful ..... it’s back

To be honest , on the first days you are linked to gckey you think those numbers are high value and that it's reliable but then you realized that it's just a counter and that the remaining is just a countdown to 0 of 12 months lol

Then you understand that your app been in a backstorage for 6 months not moved an inch after SA bio and medical and didn't even started the BGC around or almost none (in wait for the Vo to receive your case....) and your timeline still continue to go on and on. lol

the 12 months is not because the app is that long to evaluate is because they are NOT able to process them as fast as they enter.. the real process is maybe like 4,5 months maximum, the rest of it , your app is not even looked at...

Can someone clarify this for me please. Which date do we look at to mark the 12 months timeline. The date on the sponsors side which says " we started processing your application on ...." or is it the date it was received?
Thanks in advance

Thanks, it's been about 22 days and I haven't received AOR 2 as yet from Mexico. I have seen some applicants post their information here, hoping to be in that same time frame, At least get some sort of notification rather than none at all .
