Just to let y’all know, ecas will say “in transit” forever until you communicate with the embassy and say, “Look, it’s been months. Please investigate.”

Then comes the response: “Sorry, lost in transit. Please resubmit.”

The good news is they will take photocopies of everything except the police certificate. That has to be original. So, acquire a new one and FedEx it urgente de Canada.

Ok, might cost $1000 to fly it to Canada but heck, it’s only money.

Took someone I know two days for delivery to the embassy in DF from Canada.

Then smile and let the process continue.

???? you get responsible if your app is lost BY THEM?? what the hell is that.

a good friend of mine who is does civil
litigation - but is not an immigration lawyer - doubts that there is any basis for litigating against the government for reasons such as this. After all, it’s only a loss of time and you can always risk DHL - not lol

But that’s a single legal opinion.

That would totally be absurd tho.. is a BIG loosing time and money. I really hope its not happening with mine cause wont find this funny. Theres TONS of personal info in this .. is not just a random paper thing. Would be telling your privacy worth zero.

Just checked ECAS and there is an additional line in it now that says, "We started processing XXXXXX's application on October 23, 2019". So I'm assuming that's our AOR2 since I haven't received notification from Mexico that they received the file yet, only notice from Sydney that they sent it to Mexico on Oct. 3. YAAAYY!! At least it's not lost!! :D

My ECAS just changed to Decision made. But no specifics yet.

Outland Dec 2018 applicant. PA from Mexico.

when were you sent to Mexico?

just been transferred to Mexico !!!! finally

Can apply for CSQ ugh... it's been long

It was sent on 25 July, and received AOR 2 on 13 September.

After that, they requested an updated Schedule A, and some extra documents about a week ago by e-mail, and the replied 2 days ago that they received and this morning it shows as Decision Made.

Ok cool let's see what happens with mine by now

Good luck. I'm sure you will be getting an AOR 2 soon.

Actually now that I remember, before I got my AOR 2, I sent them a webform to change my mailing address, and I received this reply from them on late August:

"
Sir,

We acknowledge receipt of the information you have recently submitted.

Your application has been received by our office in Mexico. Our office will contact you as soon as we are ready to start processing your file. An exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications will be reviewed in the order in which they were received."

This is good, now you can relax a little :):):)

Yeah , is def gonna help.

At least gonna have Xmas time with family there and gonna be able to announce a lil something lol.. it's not over but is moving forward.

Oh my..congratulationsssssss!! You should be really excited. 99 % of the time decision made in ECAS means your application is approved and all you should be waiting on is PPR. If it was going to be refused you would have already known long time ago. So just sit back and relax.

Question guys, what are the chances that an interview will be requested...if you have about couple days remaining until a year and they never asked for any additional docs only updated PCC. First marriage, no dependents, no criminal records, we are both the same age as well. Been together for 2 years before we married in 3rd year. Opinion ?

Before interview is requested , do they ask for additional documents along the way, so in some way you'll know.

I seem to be getting a little anxious, time is going by, I'm soo close to the 12months (20 days ) .no pre arrival or DM as yet, so I just thought I'll ask ( our case is very simple tho )

Mexico's chances are high but its not everyone

Email them and ask for an update. They may tell you, that you require an interview or they will say still in progress.
