Hi there what country is PA from?

Have they asked you for any additional information?
My husband is Panamanian. No additional information has been asked. The last documents sent were his Quebec selection certificate, a Declaration because one of his three children couldn't complete me medical exam (the mom doesn't cooperate) and an update of Schedule A.

We were August 2, 2018. Through MexCity. It was quite frustrating since there had been nothing since AOR2 on Feb.28. Then, miraculously, it all happened . BGC started on July 15, Pré-Arrival on July 16 and PPR on July 18. Many others have had the same kind of timeline. Keep the Faith.
Congratulations!!!

You know all of us are in the same boat and anxiously waiting for news. In my case my file still has not been transferred to VO Mexico. 8 Months and my application still in Canada. Our application is not Complex or complicated, never married, no children all in order, but the uncertainty of not knowing the exact time it takes, is very frustrating and debilitating...

Wow 2 months over the year mark, I'm sure you are so relieved!!

Do you think the transfer from Cuba to Mexico had something to do with the delay?

Just received news from a friend who wishes to remain anonymous that the embassy in Mexico “lost” his application.

Buyer beware.

Did they advise him what will happen now? I have heard cases where the Syndey location misplaced files and they investigate and end up finding them. Will they start over? I guessing they would have to be given some kind of priority considering they are almost towards the end.

Apparently the Canadian embassy in Mexico is investigating how they lost the application- my friend had to resubmit everything to Mississauga.
That is crazy, did they have a lot of time left for their 12 months?

Aside from having to get all the docs redone I think they are lucky to be sending to CPM-M and not back to Mexico. Lets hope for your friend this means they will resolve the case faster, they have a pretty awesome turn around time.
