You can get the PGR from the state office in Jalisco. Here is a list of the states that you can get it from:

Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Colima, Durango, Estado de México, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Yucatán, Zacatecas

speaking of being in mexico city.
last weekend we went to the canadian embassy in polanco (we just happen to be in the area so we stopped by to check it out) and my husband was like
this means when we stand on the property we are on CANADIAN LAND!! haha we were so happy just standing there looking at the building :) <3

Right! But at least you don´t have to wait for the letter for that one....

WHAT REALLY!! i thought you could only get it in mexico city!.
so you can get it at any pgr office in jalisco? or is there certain ones you have to go to ?

well the ssp we got. my mother in law got it from puebla she didnt have to come to mexico city. although it took 3 days to get back to her..
 
Where did she go to get the SSP? the local police station?

im honestly not even sure.
we were in canada. we just sent her the fingerprints and carta poder. and she got it from puebla.
i will ask my husband when he gets home from work if he knows where she got it from

i thought i had the police certificates all figured out.. now im confused again lol :(


@nessa--- whats the difference between ssp, pgr, and state police checks??
 
SSP is only from Mexico city (I think) lol
