Cant remember if I asked this or not.. When should I expect AOR from Mexico City? and how is it sent? by email or mail?
Email to the PA. Could be a few weeks or a few months based on the spreadsheet.

If i dont hear anything back from mexico city when the 20 days is up.
should I contact my MP to email them and confirm they have the application

Anyone who has gone to get the PGR letter @ the embassy of Mexico in Toronto please msg me! I have so many questions and the embassy is not helping us. Thanks.

It's 10:30 am and I am already fed up, lol.

Still no word on our end. I'm taking comfort in the fact that there is still hope for summer. We're both busy with work and family stuff over the next few weeks, we talk every day and the days are flying by. We're trying to keep focused on the upside - we're near the end. We have to be! Have a great weekend all.

I hope you hear something soon. I know it's long overdue. :)

Yeah, I was looking at the spreadsheet because I'm anxious to know how long Step 2 is taking now. Nessa was just under 5 months, which would be great. And I think yours in the next one to be processed that is somewhat straightfoward.

How long does everyone think Step 2 will take now?

We sent our application in a few days before Nessa and we are still in step 2. We are waiting for the PPR and it has been absolutely grueling!! I am checking the cic website twice a day and no updates since the last update(May). It says they are processing our file. It doesn't even show having received the medical report which was submitted back in December 2011.We turned in the SSP report on June 29th. We are just so tired of this whole process.

I was thinking about you when I was looking at the spreadsheet. I couldn't remember what was going on with your app. Have you received a request for the PGR?

We received that back in April. For the PGR (Informe de datos registrales), they requested that we send fingerprints, 3 photographs, copy of passport, a file number to the immigration section at Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193 in D.F. We did that back in April. My hubby is living the the U.S. that is why they asked for the Informe de Datos Registrales. At any rate, we sent that already. Then in May, they asked for the Certificado de Antecedentes No Penales from the SSP (Secretaria de Seguridad Publica). We had a lot of trouble getting that but finally got it and sent it in. They received it on June 29th. We have not received any word about it since then. I even sent them an email on July 18th and they still have not responded. We are assuming we are close to getting the PPR but we don't know what is really going on. We are feeling a bit desperate now.

Yeah you must be very close to getting your PPR. That must be hard, waiting everyday knowing it should be any day now. It;s too bad that the communication is so poor. Maybe it's in the mail, and takes longer to go to the US? :)

Yes, we are hoping and praying for everyone for some good new! It would be a nice way to celebrate the end of summer. I am imagining it being the end of summer, on a restaurant patio, enjoying a cold beer with my hubby. I am told visualization really works; I will put it to the test? Lol! :P

Could be. Although, all of their correspondence has been via email thus far. They say it's always darkest before the dawn. My hubby was just telling me the other day that it seems to be harder now (in the last couple months) than it was in the beginning. I feel the same way. I am sure everyone on here knows this feeling as well. Thank goodness we all have each other! :D
