That is great news!! It's really good to see some movement at the VO and you must be super happy.

I realize that this ECAS is not very reliable as far as timing and such but I'm getting a little bit worried... most applicants with an AOR2 have their ECAS changed to "processing" - ours is still stuck on "application received" even though we received our AOR2 at the end of September and I have had an email acknowledgement that they have my husbands medical file and it's included with the rest of our application. Could it be that they haven't even started our process

Hi Chrillan! I think we are in the same situation! I got AOR2 on Sept 30th and my Ecas has always shown application received status and that Medicals have been received! I think we do are in process though!! Let's be positive!!!

Yes it looks like we are in the same situation. It's good to have company and yes I think you are right, lets stay positive - yesterday was a hard day but today was great - seeing these PPR's makes me happy for everyone... ours will come.

My AOR2 didn't say anything about my Medicals! It says received in the Ecas shortly after my husband was approved as sponsor!
I think Ecas info depends way too much on who is working on your app! It would be nice if they update it more often but it seems impossible!

It must be because we sent my husbands medical after the SA then. Even though they have everything in Mexco's VO they haven't updated the Ecas since they received our file. It makes sense what you said about depending on who's working on the file...

ECAS is a courtesy and in no way it implies that is the current status of your application. It can take up to 2 months to be updated (usually it takes around 3 weeks on no main statuses). BTW calling them is also not good as telephone operators have the same information as ECAS.

As far as I know ecas gets refreshed by an independent system from the actual people working on the file. This is expected as systems like ECAS work that way, they run periodic updates, which are scheduled depending on many variables.

Can you tell me how many days/weeks did it take to go from In Process in your ECAS to decision made. I know the system is very unlikely to be updated. But more importantly whats the date they said they started processing your application for the last stage to when they emailed you PPR? If you don't mind sharing… Thanks in advance
