Chances are they wont give you any information if you go in person. they wont even give you information over the phone
even through a case specific enquiry email the info they give out is very limited.
if it was me i wouldnt go to the embassy, its only been a couple weeks, its normal for it to take a few weeks for them to get ur papers, look at them, process them, and decide what the next step is.
i would suggest just waiting a bit more. keep checking to see when they update ur new address on ecase. than u know theyve opened ur file and did something with it.
