Hello guys, I changed my home address here in Mexico and was wondering how to notify CIC, should I simply send them a letter? Thanks!
aor's take anywhere from 2-4 months to arrive.Frida19 said:Hi guys , Its been a month already and they haven't sent me an AOR is it normal ??
Sorry, for some reason, I find this somewhat confusing:mexicanada said:My husband didn't get his PGR within 30 days ( Reg Mail) and that's not surprising but what we did do is go to the Embassy in Mexico and pick up the Instructions. I explained to the front desk that the 30 days was past and they told me and my husband to come back in 2 hrs and they gave it to us.
Thankz leisa im going crazy wit all this ! How is your case going ? Have they contact you ??LeisaP said:aor's take anywhere from 2-4 months to arrive.

I agree, bttmntl said:Hey everyone. I'm noticing lots of anxiety around the timing. Hang in there and remember to be a bit patient for the sake of your peace of mind. One of the hardest parts of the process seems to be learning how to let go and have faith that all the hard work you put into your application will pay off.
It's normal for AOR to take 2-4 months as LeisaP said, and I imagine it's normal for a month to go by at any step. It may slow things down a bit to send lots of inquiries - after all, an employee has to take time to review your words and craft a response.
So try to relax and let it happen. It's hard, I know... but you want to be a mentally healthy person when your lover comes home. =)
Chances are they wont give you any information if you go in person. they wont even give you information over the phoneKazza said:Hi everyone! This Thursday is going to be three weeks since I personally delivered at the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City the prepaid DHL form and my updated Schedule A form. I did this exactly on the same week I received an email from the embassy requesting these documents. My husband just checked online the status of our case and there are no updates on our file nor I have received yet the letter for the PGR. I also checked DHL online and the airway bill hasn´t been used either. Is it advisable I stop by the Embassy on Monday and check directly with them if they got everything ok? Or will they just send me home with no news? I also sent them an email last week requesting them to make a correction on my address... I do not want to be the annoying person that breathes down their neck all the time but I also don´t want to let weeks and weeks go by and just delay this even longer... Any thoughts?
After we picked up the instructions from the Embassy we went to the bank to pay the fees and then to the Agency that does the PGR and then we had to wait 10 days for them to complete it. We picked up the PGR and then submitted it directly to the Embassy. You can also look on line to find out all the documents you need. My husband didn't have his Cartia so we had to do that before we could even start his PGR.gsize said:Sorry, for some reason, I find this somewhat confusing:
what happens after that.....you send it to PGR with a fee ? what is the cost ? How long before they process ? do they send it back to you in Mexico or to the embassy ?
Can anyone pick it up (brother or sister) or only applicant ?
How much is the fee? If I may ask?mexicanada said:After we picked up the instructions from the Embassy we went to the bank to pay the fees and then to the Agency that does the PGR and then we had to wait 10 days for them to complete it.
