im not sure,
in that link it tells you they should send an AOR within 4 weeks of receiving your file. but I know that isn't true, cuz I have seen people not get AOR until 3 months later, or never get them lol.

Yaa. We had to do an ARC now
We are waiting for PPR.
I called my local MP yesterday to contact cic for me and see whats going on with your case.
So he did, he is waiting for them to get back to him. See if we have any updates.
Hopefully its done soon!
15 months is exhausting.

Yea you been in this process for a very long time , they shouldn´t take long wit ur application . I just started & I´m already going crazy lol

This is my worst nightmare! I am so scared of this happening to my husband and I. He is also waiting in Mexico and hasn't been able to see me or our 3 year old daughter in 10 months. I'll be praying for all of you and I hope you do the same for us.

dont worry too much. The vast majority are processed within a 'reasonable' time.

I want to visit him in Mexico but Im scared to go. We are meeting next week in Costa Rica.......

Of course I will pray for you and all others going through this nightmare. !!!!

I was so crazy at the beginning too, but ive learnt how to have superior patience! which isn't such a bad thing, because before we started I was a very impatient person, and its taught me some things u just have to wait for

I just got back from living there with my spouse for a year. I really enjoyed it, but we were all over the place,
Puerto Vallarta, than puebla, than Veracruz, mexico city, and the last 6 months were in Guadalajara, he is still there now. Its like a second home to me

but im jealous about costa rica!! lol I would loooovee to go there!

my parents think I will get kidnapped, and I cant go against their wishes.. He lives in a small town in Oaxaca. I used to travel to Mexico a lot. I really love it there and wonderful people too !!!!

My cousins were all worried when i first went too. But i didnt feel unsafe any time there except inside mexico city.
And we took buses alot to and from different cities. Last time i was there we rented a car and headed to the beach. That was fun and the drive was nice all the way through the jungle.

I heard oaxaca is nice! My aunt has been some some little towns there i dont remeber the names though!

Where do u usually meet him to visit than? Cuz i cant imagine u went 4 years with no visits?

We met twice in Havana and once in Belize. These are cheap holidays. Its a challenge getting time off work for him. Sorry for taking over the thread....its a rough day for me ! Seeing him again and saying goodbye after 1 week will tear me apart once again ???

oo okay! well that's nice to have those little vacations where he can get away from work and stuff as well.

cuz I know my spouse is just not happy at all right now in mexico and with his job so when I went down there I took him out of the city to the beach and we spent 4 days at the beach and I know he really enjoyed just being away from it all you know. so that's a good thing

Just enjoy the time you have with him and enjoy costa rica!!
hell be back soon enough! if you've made it through 4 years of immigration, your definatly fit to last a lifetime together!

gisize, are those good news or what? how far into your process are you? are they still asking for evidence or stuff to prove relationship? I'm hoping your wait is close to an end and you can get reunited with your loved one pretty soon.

it is good news, but I have been on a rollercoaster for a long time. I wont hold my breath until he is here with me. (cautious optomism)

(we won our appeal in Toronto last August 2012, so there is not need to prove our relationship is genuine) It is just waiting for final processing It was supposed to be 'fast tracked" after successful appeal. I am reading older threads stating it still can be another 6 months...or maybe longer. I get stronger every day (today is not a good one-LOL)
