good question. I guess they know more than us. Unfortunately, this happens a lot. Due to fraud over many years- many applicants go through a rough ride. My case was solid and I felt confident I would win Appeal. We won on appeal and the judge reversed the decision. Waiting for final processing in Mex. 8)

I haven't heard of very many Mexican fraud cases. I have had a couple friends marry Canadian girls and the girls end up screwing them over or cheating or divorcing etc and cancelling their application on them.
its quite sad, some of them are close friends of ours and I just feel so bad for them.

its crazy how things like that happen.

I agree wit you Leisa , this is the first time I heard of a mexican fraud case , I never heard of one before :S

How long after you submitted the pgr certificate did you get ppr?
We submitted ours two weeks ago. Im wondering if we are going to hear back soon.

no, the girl wasn't from Mexico but I think it happens from several countries...some more than others!

yeah definatly some more than others, but it happens in all the countries, we just dont hear about everything.

i could probably write a book from all the stories ive heard, lol.
but i have yet to hear one from mexico.

Yeah, it's great, thanks! The whole process took a little over 6 months.

Thank you!! Last documents were received by the embassy on March 21, I didn't expect to hear back from them so soon considering it took 4 months for them to send AOR.

I hope you get PPR very soon!

lots of people get it around the 3 month mark

I got in touch with my local MP and his assistant contacted cic for us to see where we were at

and the last update they have is that there were documents requested in feb, which we sent march 25.
so he said they are either working on them now or havent opened them yet, but other than that everything else is good, we got a positive selection (which im assuming means sponsorship is approved) everything is still valid and good to go, so we are basically just waiting for the embassy to process those last documents and hopefully it will be soon!!

so hopefully within the next couple weeks we will hear some good news!

We usually fly with westjet. He is in Puerto Vallarta. Our dogs are slightly too big to fit in cabin so they need to fly in the belly of the plane. Because of the heat they won't allow dogs to fly under there from May 1st to October 31st. I'm not sure what we're going to do
