Apparently westjet won't fly dogs out of mexico after may 1st because of the heat. They resume service October 31st. I was pretty hubby wouldn't want to fly back October 31st lol. So we still haven't gotten my husband's passport back from the embassy (we sent it in a week ago) but today his online status changed to decision made. They also changed all his address information to my address here in Canada :D I'm pretty sure this is a very good sign!! Only 12 more days till...

I would contact them for sure. They are usually fairly good at answering. I believe it also reminds them of you and your file.

Once you send the passport in how long has been taking them to send it back via dhl? what have been the average times? I'm sooooo excited! :)

Just curious as to what was in other people's ppr letter? Ours just stated that our visa will be expiring April 28,2014 and that they needed confirmation of my hubby's current address the address of where he will be staying and his passport :) He needed to send all this with a copy of the ppr...

oh but he pretty much does....in the letter it states that the visa will expire april 28, 2014.....so why would they give us an expiry date if he wasnt going to get it?

He is going to have his visa to enter Canada. we just got the ppr request for our permenant residency application. We have gone through the whole process...he will have documentation and I told them that so they are aware of the situation

what kind of dog is it?

We usually fly with westjet. He is in Puerto Vallarta. Our dogs are slightly too big to fit in cabin so they need to fly in the belly of the plane. Because of the heat they won't allow dogs to fly under there from May 1st to October 31st. I'm not sure what we're going to do :(
