Okay talked to the Doctors office again, they wont give me the confirmation number because they sent in a bunch at the same time. So I will be sending in all the proof I have that my spouse completed it and the date they said they sent it. OhCanadiana, do you suggest I reply to the email they sent me, or do a case specific enquiry?
Stinks that the doctor's office won't give you the tracking number - any chance someone else in the office has it?

Reply to the e-mail (so they have the history) and follow up with a case specific enquiry if you don't get an auto-response to the e-mail within 24 hours.

mc1234, sorry to hear that! I hope this gets resolved straightforwardly and quickly! I am concerned about our medicals too, since we were switched from Guatemala to Mexico.

Just out of curiosity, does your ecas say meds received?

No it never did, something I wasn't too worried about until now :(

If we had to redo the medicals, does anyone know how long it would take them to get to mexico city?

It usually takes 2-3 weeks for the medicals to be assessed once the regional medical office receives it. But, let's hope they just have to be matched up and not redone.

Hello all. To everyone with recent PPR's - congrats!

Just popping by to let you know I'm still alive. Also, I have an update :D

Received an email this afternoon in response to a recent status inquiry stating that our case is up for admissibility assessment. I expect this means security is done and it is decision time! A timeframe was not given, but I will take this as a very good sign that we will be hearing some good news in the not too distant future. Cross all crossables for us - we can use all the help we can get.

I think of you every time I check the Mexico thread, mrsromero!

It sounds like you are finally and truly at the very end and will get the PPR soon.

What does your ecas say? (Not that it matters much just curious)

I've taken some time to cool off.. I am thinking the most (logical) answer to what happened is that the initial appendix (with all the information of the medical) placed in our application has been misplaced and therefore they cannot pull my spouses medicals. I sent them a copy of it today along with the other receipts, so hopefully that helps them locate it..

Has anyone ever heard of an embassy/CIC losing a medical before? :S

Thanks for the kind thoughts. Ecas remains the same, i.e. processing since Feb 11 2011. First time I've checked in long while actually - I basically gave up on it.

A perfect example of why keeping copies is so important ... I'm sure they'll match it up from what you sent, no worries.

Yeah I know it is pointless to check for the most part. But it will eventually change. Maybe not till after the PPR though and then it doesn't matter. Just keep an eye out for the address on your hubby's ecas. My hubby's ecas had a recent change - his mailing address changed from California to Ontario. So I know his PR card has been mailed. I think that was the very last change.

That's good to know. I will relish the moment that happens for us that's for sure!
