If you are talking about mexican mail you are going into the unknown. Sometimes things can take 2 weeks to arrive, sometimes 2 months, and sometimes never.. Have you sent in the prepaid airbill for the PGR?

how many days approx. does it takes to receive the PGR letter by mail ???

Ours took 5 days regular mail, but that seems uncommon. They obviously have had issues with mailing them, and started asking for pre paid way bils to ensure the delivery.

I know, we were both confused.. lol I got him to check the date on the letter because we thought there must have been an error and it was sent earlier. But the letter was dated the 17th, the day we got the AOR.

Hi
My wife is in Mazatlan and I see that the list for Doctors only mentions Mexico City, Monterrey and Juarez. There is a Consulate in Mazatlan, would they have a specific Dr for the Medical exams. The other cities are too far away for her to go.
I appreciate your answer.

Hello, and welcome :).

Only the Panel Physicans on the list at http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2041&CountryName=Mexico are approved to do immigration medical exams. The Physicians are independent practitioners who have applied to conduct the exams (not affiliated with the Consulate) so the Consulate wouldn't have one.

She can do the exam anywhere so if she's traveling to Canada or the US or anywhere else she could do the exam while she is there (e.g., while in Mexico City to get the SSP police certificate)

Does anyone know which companies fly direct to Mexico City from Toronto?

If you mean airlines, Air Canada does. You may be able to buy the ticket with other Star Alliance partners (e.g,, United, US Air) also and fly on Air Canada. ¡Buen viaje!

I'm trying to find direct to Calagry, from Mex City as well, but haven't found it yet. Best so far is direct to Vancouver and then to Calgary. But that's still better than connecting in the US.

Congrats on the progress this week :). I think you'll have to find where you prefer to connect ... haven't seen a direct commercial flight these days.

Yeah me either. Vancouver is fine, I just wanted to be at the airport when he was going through immigration, even if it's on the other side lol But connecting through Vancouver may be the best option. Or he'll have to go to one of the tourist towns.

That would be so cool! You could have him connect in the States and meet him there and then fly in to Canada on the same flight. That would be quite the surprise seatmate!!!

Yeah but we don't want the extra hassle of having to get a visa for the US just to get a connecting flight. But yeah that would be nicer. :)
