ARC information is SOOOO confusing!! It gets to the point that not even CIC knows what's going on! I have nightmares at least once a week that I'm granted my PR visa and that I'm sent back at the airport because I don't have an ARC and CIC never asked me to submit one! I read the one year thing, I also read that dependents of the main refugee claimant (my dad) need not apply, so that would exclude me. I don't know anymore what's going on.
Hi Edgar,
I was just reading about the ARC, see below, you dont need to worry about it, it will be issued and billed for if one is needed, from the CIC website:
If you are applying to come to Canada for any reason, (visiting, studying, working or immigrating),you should not submit a separate application for an ARC. If your application is approved, the ARC will be dealt within the context of that application. You will simply be asked to submit the fee.
Thanks missmymexi!
Hopefully that means not having to do any extra paperwork.
My dad just sent me the Carta de antecedentes penales for Baja California, it should be here on Wednesday.
I bought the guia prepagada and went to the embassy, but they stop receiving things at noon :/ So I'll go tomorrow early in the morning (they'll open tomorrow)
I had my medicals redone today. Nothing out of the ordinary, the doctor was quite rude, but I've never met a nice one anyway. I'm sure there are some though! That Green paper he gave me is what I have to give CIC right? He was clueless and said I needed to mail it to my sponsor. Doubt that! Also, whoever invented hospital robes had no fashion sense whatsoever!
