So we checked ECAS this morning (as we usually do) and noticed there was a point added. Previously we had 5 points about the progress of the application but today we have 6:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 7, 2019.
2. We started processing your application on October 31, 2019.
3. We sent you correspondence on April 23, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
4. We sent you a letter on April 23, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. We sent you medical instructions on April 24, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
6. Medical results have been received.

The second point used to be "we sent you correspondence on April 23,2019." Does that mean the application is actually in Mexico now? The reason we ask is a few weeks ago I had posted that I tried to contact our MP and basically they said they couldn't help until after elections. On October 13st early in the morning we got an email saying they would ask for an update, later that afternoon we got the transfer email and now this morning ECAS is updated.

Is it possible our application was in Mexico already they just never sent us an update? Just thought that was interesting because everything happened in one day.

Moral of the story is this process is crazy lol

That's good news. It means someone in Mexico is looking at your application. In my case, it took a month after the line update to receive AOR2.

It def was already there... it's physical paper doesn't arrived in a few minutes to Mexico.

did you received any email something from Mexico as AOR2 ??

For mine they started processing on Aug 23rd but didn’t send AOR2 till Oct 2

i guess we'll be patient , soon gonna have the confirm lol as long as they have received the app and are working on... not really caring on AOR2 just would be a relief to know everything arrived there safe and sound hehe

Mine was the same ... never did get an AOR from Mexico VO but got the "processing your application" line in ecas as of Oct. 23/19 and it was transferred on Oct. 3/19. So congrats, looks like things are moving along for you!

I got it both beerween 22 and 23 of August, a month before my flight
I'm not received yet ...

Guys, finally I can say that I am a permanent resident, I just got my PR Card today! It took one month after my arrival in canada!

Same thing happened in my case. File was transferred in July, Line 2 was updated August 5 and AOR2 was sent August 22.
You'll receive yurs soon.

Strange my husband got AOR2 in August and still shows started processing application February 19 and we have 15 days left to 1 year

We have a feeling it had been sent before we just were never notified. At this point just happy to see any movement at all.

Hoping they keep this up and start wrapping up more applications! Glad to finally see some more action from Mexico.

One thing we learned from this process is what patience really is, but it will all be worth it in the end!

Guys, finally I can say that I am a permanent resident, I just got my PR Card today! It took one month after my arrival in canada!

Where did you land? Can you let us know how the process was with immigration and everything in the airport?

I don’t know if this means anything but I just checked GCKey & it says they started processing background check! All I wanted this year for my birthday was to spend it with my husband, but this wasn’t possible. This made my birthday better though!

something i dont get with your app... you say PA is from USA but you say in the signature been transferred to Mexico.. My BGC is on process since like months and months lol in gckey that's pretty much means nothing.
