Any signs of life whatsoever?

This month - October - the embassy asked for a new original police certificate and also for a record of our entries and exits from Cuba. Presumably post-application although no timeline was specified.

We provided the PC via FedEx and all other info promptly and courteously.

Can you not upload it to gckey ? I would email it . Does is say mail it ? That’s super strange for a photocopy

Yup, it is completely crazy, but if Mexico asks for snail mail (hard copy), that's what I'll send them! Getting translated now will send it from CR tomorrow.

the thing is we don't always have a translator that can do the job super fast like that. 15 days is super short delay.

But the bio page it states copy ? Is it all in Spanish ? I know my husbands passport from Dominican Republic there was no need to translate because it had both Spanish and English , does it specifically say mail this document ? If not I would photocopy the page they want and email it , then send a photocopy by mail

Yup its all in Spanish and pretty obvious what the items are - like name, birth date, nationality, etc. It does say to mail to the address below ... Canadian Embassy, then gives the physical address in Mexico. And yet they only want a copy ... doesn't make sense but what do I know!.

Hey all!!

Quick update, we finally got transfer email!!!

So happy to finally be at this stage in the process, we are in the home stretch!!!!

Also so happy to see Nov and Dec applicants getting DM's!!!! Let's all hope they keep this pace up and start wrapping some more applications up!!!

The end is insight wishing the best for us all!!

Fortunately, in CR I do have. We've had to translate so many documents for either my temporary residency here in Costa Rica or his application in Canada, Marc (the translator) is making money off us but at least he's always available and works quickly!! :D

Now that your application is in Mexico you are basically wating to see if they as for any additional documents

If they don't have anymore concerns then you would get pre arrival email decision made and passport request

You can still expect 12 months deadline at this point
