ya I know all the steps as this has been in the works for a month or so for me, but I kept positive but this week gave me the confirmation I needed. thanks for your kind words.

Please be 110% sure you want to do this. All couples have fights that make us think we don't want to be together anymore. This is a tough and long process for you to cancel and then decide to apply again in a month or so when you guys are fine again

I get what you wanna say but ... if she decided it was the best and she have thought wise on it.. it's the good thing to do.. Sponsorship , with all that imply is a big deal. i would say that if you get to the point of having doubt as in severe doubt.. is better now than when the papers are done and that person gets the entry.

That's true. I just really hope she won't regret it. I'm just talking from a lifetime of seeing couples being on and off, on and off. If it's something like cheating then for sure go ahead. But if it's like "Oh I don't like how you treat my mom" then I would say wait. Hell I almost left my husband because he called me a bad driver once lol

1st not ALL cases will be sent to VO for doing the BGC , mine isn't transferred yet from february19th ! so we could be in the lucky ones.. or not

2nd Sydney can decide to do the whole process in Nova scotia also if Vo is too busy or any reason.
(not necessary according to them thats why 1st VO is " Centralized intake and processing office at Sydney")

That said, if your destination is Quebec... you are like me,.. here for a long ride as the quota is exceeded since June ... so no more Visa issued for Destination to Quebec until January.

And we are NOT even sure to enter in the 2020's wave as a long list are already waiting from june to december 2018....


the only way to get in contact with IRCC outside Canada is the Webform...

I have read about the Quebec thing as well, so sorry that is holding you guys up!!!!!

I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens but not getting an email will drive me crazy, I tried to submit a web form and there was a message saying that if we are within the 12 months they wont answer anyways :S.

We are going to be settling in Waterloo Ontario. It's just more waiting for us I suppose.

Only you can know whats best for you, having this undertaking is a huge responsibility and not to be taken lightly. Listen to you gut and instincts if you are seeing red flags thats never a good sign.

This process takes a toll on all of us but if you have had sufficient signs that its not right you should do what your instincts tell you. After all only you know whats best for you.

If you are going to withdraw I would only think that the sooner the better, once they receive the file in Mexico and it changes to in progress with them you are no longer eligible for the refund.

Best of wishes for you and comfort for what ever you decide.

Is it just me or isn't it super exciting to finally see some action on this Mexico forum!!!! I think back to July and August there was almost no activity!!

Ahaha. Right?!! It seems kinda cruel -Decision made but we're not going to tell you what it is.. I hate to admit though its better than no news at all! Im guessing its sitting in a big stack of files waiting for a final review. Maybe someone took pity and us and gave us the DM a little earlier than they normally do. We will probably never know..

We would like to know what number we could call to get any information about our application from outside Canada.

App received on March 7th no transfer yet. We were expecting to wait until November but I started noticing people in the March group have been transferred to Mexico ( March 19th, March 22nd) and we have not heard anything yet. I know everyone's case is different but I think we can all understand the stress we are under.

We know we are still within time frame and don't want to be annoying but we just want to try, at least to ease our nerves a bit. Maybe see that things are on track.

If you have the number or email where I could get in touch with someone please share it. Also I am the sponsor, would the PA have to call or can I ask on his behalf?

I leave you my timeline below and on a side note it took almost 9 months for my file to be transferred to VO Mexico, and since I'm a Quebec applicant I must file Provincial Forms to request the Certicat de Selection du Quebec CSQ which I already did.

NO answer about the CSQ and NO AOR2 letter, Realistically I don't expect my case to finish on the the 1 year mark, adding that I heard that Quebec is processing applications up to June 2019. As the saying goes, Hope for the best, but prepare for the worse, in other words I'm prepare to wait longer than 1 year. However, each case is different and when you least expect it you will get an e-mail with news. All the best.!!!
