I am sorry if I asked this question before or if it has been answered can anyone tell me after file transfers to Mexico how long it takes for AOR2. Thanks

There is no time line. It could be anytime. no consistency.... no pattern

There is no time line. Some receive an answer in regards in 4 some 7 some longer...

there is no consistency and every application is different.. ask 4 people and youll get 4 different answers. it is tough but my suggestion is to not set expectations so you dont get let down too much...

So right and so frustrating, no consistency at all! Some January applicants have been transferred yet there are others waiting from November and December.

Do we know if anyone that has been transferred to Mexico from February or March? We are March 7th so wondering if anyone close to our date has been transferred already.

We suspect no transfer until end of August to mid- September at best.

For those of us still waiting just take a deep breath and hang on for the ride, don't stress yourself comparing your case with others. Not one application is the same so it's only going to drive you crazy.

I’m actually considering not looking at the forums or the Facebook group because it’s just becoming too upsetting, I could justify when it’s other visa offices even though I didn’t like it.

We are hoping the same. We submitted our application in January. The biometrics and medical exam request and sponsor approval all happened very quickly on the same day March 27. Since then nothing. I just called because it seems that sometimes they transfer to Mexico without confirmation but they said it is still in Sydney. Hopefully we all hear soon

She doesn't need an interview, biometrics nor additional documents. I suspect that the BGC may really have begun a while back but the account was updated just now.

I'm confused. So if it says they are processing your background check....then they likely won't require an interview?

It will, and trust me it does not move any faster there HAHA. I have 51 days left and eligibility still in progress, and background apparently not yet initiated. lol Im waiting patiently and not expecting a 12 month finish. I truly hope yours goes fast

In our case, even after the approval from MexCity and PPR, those had not yet been updated. Why does that happen? IRCC works in mysterious ways. I'm not sure who is suppose to do the actual updating. It seems that from Mex, everything comes in an intense flurry just prior to the 12 month limit. For us, Pre-Arrival , DM and PPR all came in a three day period , 15 days before the 12 months were up. Your good news is coming soon.

You are so right. They work in very Mysterious ways LOL. I am awaiting my last set of notes with 44 days left in my process. Nothing in GCKey is updated at all. However my last set of notes show that our application is with case analyst for review..... so who knows how long it will be or what it even means. We have been told that the applications go to a case analyst first and then a senior officer for final. Hang in there everyone, all process and officers/analysts work at their own pace .

until you have landed, all those things stay as still processing. landing means you have officially completed everything

Seems like a lot of us are pretty much on the same boat. Perhaps they are just going to send a mass amount of files and begin working on them in order of date.

Finally received an email from Mexico confirming application has been received and is processed in the order received and to keep communication to a minimum for more efficient processing. Is that normal? Well am happy they confirmed receiving it.

Did they notify you in June that the files was being transferred or did you just get the confirmation now?
