How long does it take to get the citizenship certificate after the Zoom ceremony?

If I send it right away...how long does it typically take for the oath officer to receive it? Is it typically a few days or a several week wait? And thank you so much for the help

How long does it take to get the citizenship certificate after the Zoom ceremony?

The ecertificate. But my main concern is the oath form that needs to be signed. I didn't know if that's done and uploaded during the ceremony or sent seperate. Because one thing said 3 business days after the ceremony I would get the ecertificate but then another thing said only after I email...

How long does it take to get the citizenship certificate after the Zoom ceremony?

My ceremony is July 9 and my travel date is Sept 7 so not sure if I have enough time? Also, the oath form that is signed after the ceremony....does that all get done during the ceremony or do I sign it during the ceremony and email it after? Does that not hold up getting the citizenship...

I applied January 2019. Everything but eligibility was finished within about 3 months. Eligibility took about 14-15 months

https://www.ourcommons.ca/members/en Here you can search for your MP and their info based on your postal code. I'm assuming you are over one year? They won't help you if not. Just tell them when you applied and that you would like their help and go from there. Right now all they can probably do...

I didn't even look to be honest. I've never heard there's a time limit to receive your card before having to start over. Especially because you cannot control how long it takes but I doubt they would require you to start over. If that is a rule they would likely extend.

I thought I heard that some countries now are doing interviews over the phone? Hopefully if that is the case Mexico will be also

My MP was great once I contacted her in Ottawa rather then the local office. We had other issues going on and ended up getting help from the NDP immigration critic. If you can be with your family in Canada then do it. You could be waiting another year +

I got sponsor approval, biometrics and medical exam in March 2019. My wife and kids didn't land until October 2020. You have a long wait. Some here are over two years waiting. I think they are working because people have been getting updates and ppr. Once you are over one year just contact your...

It didn't work for me on my phone. I tried my computer and it worked. I use chrome on my computer and explorer on my phone so maybe try Google Chrome to open? I would just try other devices as well.

I know a few people had this issue. It worked on a different device. Did you try opening it somewhere else?

Yes and that's why you are only getting updates and no results. Next time you send an email ask to have your MP call you. It is not guaranteed results but your MP can do much more for you then their assistant. If you don't know who you're speaking with then it's likely not your MP. Just someone...

You asked to speak to your MP direct? Or you have been corresponding with a secretary of your MP? If you're speaking to anyone but your MP then you will only get updates. Once I asked to talk only to my MP, she called me and my MP started contacting the immigration minister of Canada on my behalf.

Yes. This was my case. But I contacted my MP direct in Ottawa and she was very effective. The problem is that most here are contacting their local MP office instead of the Ottawa office. I've said it many times here but it gets ignored. When you contact your local MP office your MP has no...
