We applied at the end of January (outland). Our first correspondence from the VO in Mexico was a request for Schedule A and supplement to Schedule A, which we emailed to the VO at the beginning of March right before they transferred our file in the middle of March. We did not get our official AOR2 until May 26 (eCAS added the line "We started processing your application on May 4" .... the unofficial AOR2, where they opened our file at the VO but didn't yet send out correspondence that our file was received and opened).Has anyone who has gotten PPR or who applied on December or before not gotten the official AOR2 email from Mexico? Like has anyone gotten a document request as the first communication from Mexico VO instead of the standard AOR2 Email?
Hi, I applied outland in October/2016 but so far I haven't get eny news from visa office in Mexico, in the other hand I've seen that all of you guys has been created an online account to see the status of the application, and I've never created one. So I literally have no idea where my case is going . My immigration consultant told me that is not necessary to create the account that with the online tool is enough. I have been reading that with the online account you can see more detailed information. so far its been 7 months since they started processing my application.Has anyone who has gotten PPR or who applied on December or before not gotten the official AOR2 email from Mexico? Your consultant is more or less right - there's not that much more detail, almost same information.Hi, I applied outland in October/2016 but so far I haven't get eny news from visa office in Mexico, in the other hand I've seen that all of you guys has been created an online account to see the status of the application, and I've never created one. thanks for the recommendation, We tried before to link our account to receive GCMS notes but we are not able because we gave power to our consultant.Your consultant is more or less right - there's not that much more detail, almost same information.
If you want to see details - best bet is to request GCMS notes.
You dont have to link your account to receive GCMS notes. You have to apply through third party companies. Try one of these - www.caips.ca for $40 or www.caipsgcms.com for $25. You only need your file# to apply for the GCMS notes. It is very simple and straight forward process.thanks for the recommendation, We tried before to link our account to receive GCMS notes but we are not able because we gave power to our consultant.
where are you applying from?

Yes, if you have a friend/relative in canada, it will only cost $5.Or you can save money and apply through the sponsor - only $5.
If you are the sponsor you can apply on behalf of the applicant. Just get the authorization form filled out and signed by the applicant. Takes just a couple of minutes to apply for notes.
Because this is the 'Family Class Sponsorship' forum, I would imagine every applicant would have a Canadian sponsorYes, if you have a friend/relative in canada, it will only cost $5.

Oh wow you have not heard anything at all? Not even that they received your application in Mexico?Hi, I applied outland in October/2016 but so far I haven't get eny news from visa office in Mexico, in the other hand I've seen that all of you guys has been created an online account to see the status of the application, and I've never created one. You can see almost as much details on ECAS, without creating an account:Oh wow you have not heard anything at all? Not even that they received your application in Mexico?
I am not able to link my account either so we cannot see any of those details.
I always check on ECAS once a week and since January I haven't seen any update. Last update was that they started processing my application for the PR and I don't know if they started processing my background check. I know my application has been forwarded to Mexico but i have no news from them.Oh wow you have not heard anything at all? Not even that they received your application in Mexico?

Hey Argy! I am new to this forum but am Canadian sponsoring my common-law partner who is from Argentina. Since you have gone through (successfully!) the process that we began in April, I have a question for you: In regards to the PCC - did it suffice to simply translate (certified) the print-out that they give you on the website and send that in? And secondly - we just found out that our app is being sent back because of missing documents. I am pretty sure that they are referring to my partner's birth certificate (no me preguntes CóMO lo faltamos.. me estoy auto-castigando muchísimo jaja!!). Can you tell about how you went about providing this? Did you simply photocopy the original and have that notarized and translated? Did you get the one that you can ask for online and have that translated and notarized?I think after they finished your BC becomes NOT APPLICABLE, same with Interview PASSED
Medical Passed
For those wondering how long did it take for BC ... I had 2 request for Polce Certificates sent them last Dec/February And got it "In progress" on March 28, and got PPR about 6 weeks later. It might give you an idea
