I am so sorry your application has been in the limb. Can't your MP do something about it?
No, they can do nothing! they told me to get back to them when I hear from Miguel . . .

At least you are getting some type of communication from them! what did it say about waiting times?

It just said they will not respond if it is within normal wait times and it has a link for you to look up wait times

This is weird, did you request information from them or did you send documents like an update for your app?[/QUOTE

It is weird. I have not contacted them at all. I was expecting them to request the RPRF lol

Keep requesting gcms notes and try to understand what's going on in your case.

Need to apply on behalf of the applicant and pay $5. There is a consent form that applicant needs to sign and send to Canadian sponsor, and then this is attached to the notes request.
These requests do show up in your file - and some say that they might affect processing.
I requested 3, and last one came on the same day as PPR.

I too knew someone in QC a woman who did the interview that day. It was not due to age difference for her, mostly due to helping him financially. She waited over 2 yrs because medical was never sent by the doctors office and the office was not helping everytime she sent it. It took her ordering the notes to finally proove to the doc office they had not sent it.

They were approved and passort requested that day

It seems to me that Miguel takes his time with the PPC and to send Passport request. That sucks!

Oh really. What was the concern? That she helped him too much financially?

This interview business stresses me out haha
I looked at the letter we got again a couple days ago and the PDF file attached says it is official AOR2 lol! I thought we got that back in march when they started processing in Mexico. I was hoping it was asking for the payment. Oh well. I think I will pay it anyway this week so they at least know we paid it.

It could very well be the RPRF they wanted and sent an AOR instead
I got 3 aor letters, the third one WAS a MISTAKE! They said it was for the payment, a few days later ad i had to contact them to say they still did not correct my hubby's address.... Pay it, it will make the process quicker

Also could you please tell me where you got your fingerprints Taken? Please I'm freaking out.

I'm not sure what exactly you are asking about doing the BGC before you come to Canada. From what you have said, I am guessing you need one or more police clearance certificates and don't want to wait for the embassy in Mexico to request it and then start the process. Sometimes the certificates take a while to get, so it will delay the application process.

I just sent of an application to get an RCMP police clearance report for my partner. He had to obtain fingerprints from a specific police station in Chile, where he is from. He sent them to me and I sent them to an accredited company affiliated with the RCMP, who will digitize them and send them off to the RCMP so they can do a search on their database to determine his past criminal history.

We also did not get a request to submit the report yet, but I want to have the report ready when they ask for it. Also my partner is working on a project in a rural location during the weekdays and wouldn't have time until end of July to get the fingerprints done.

I am not sure what you need the fingerprints for, but if it is for a PCC from Canada, this is the procedure, more or less.

Could someone please tell me if it's possible to ask for the background check before sending the application? I want to go to Canada and have the BC waiting for when they ask for it so I don't have to wait for the embassy or come back to México for it. I would really really appreciate your answers!
You can not accelerate the Background check process and you can not have your Mexican police certificates upfront, you have to wait until the embassy sends you a letter requesting for them. Once you have the request you can then apply from inside or outside of Mexico. If you are in Mexico you need to look for the fingerprints sheet on the internet and bring it to your local police office, and asks a police to help you with the fingerprints. If you are in Canada, there are different companies where you can have your fingerprints done, they all charge for them tho. when the agent/embassy request for the Mexican PCC they usually attached the instructions for both ways. But i will recommend you to have a look at the PGR just to see what documents you will need in case you come to Canada so you have them handy. If you haven't sent your application it will take approximately 3 to 4 months (sometimes longer) from the date the applications is received, for the agents to request police certificates.
Hope this is helpful.
