I only knew it was in Mexico VO because I called immigration and they told me it’s being processed there. I called the number they gave me and no one was able to help.

Finally heard back from Mexico VA to my form a month later saying we are listed for interview. Does anyone know what questions they ask and if the interview will be in the Mexico office or the hometown of the applicant ? Because my husband needs a visa to go to Mexico so that would complicate a lot of things.

Hello I heard back after a month of submitting the web form that we are scheduled for an interview but will contact me once one is available. The process for me is terrible it has been 14 months of waiting.

I submitted the web form as suggested after 13 months and they replied within a month saying they are waiting for an interview date. It’s been 15 months of waiting.
I’ve sent 2 other web forms after the first one and they keep saying waiting for interview date.
Im considering ordering the notes at this point.

I have already received one batch of notes, waiting on the second batch to come in. First set really only told me which stage of the background check was done, which in progress, and which not started.
Has your background check been completed? If so, when?
You should definitely order the notes. Why not?

yes I will order them but the wait is ridiculous. It’s so slow the last update I got was Aug 2023 that medical passed. After that nothing both background and eligibility are pending.
I don’t know what happens after the interview if they tell you the answer right away or we still have to wait that would be a major killer !!!
plus everything in DR has gone up including the tickets so much harder to go now.

Good grief, after 15 months and they still don't even give an interview date. I have heard about interviews in DR that they might tell you at the interview or it could take a couple days.
Hey, did they ever ask you to submit an updated police certificate? Another DR applicant mentioned they were asked for one, and I'm just wondering if this is something that is done with everyone (they were told it expires after 6 months- I thought it was a year).
