I don't mean to make it sound depressing I'm in this 15 months now we are 2017 July hoping to hear soon my husband medical will expire next month so I'm furstrated my lawyer sent an email to them today we already get pre-approved

They have got to do something about this Mexico processing fiasco. This is beyond overbearing! Smh at all this.

My mom emailed them last week and was told it's in process at the moment this too much stress on us and our family.

In my experience Mexico is very slow to respond, and you won't get any of the things that other VOs send out (eg AOR2, pre-arrival services, etc) until they're actually nearly done. Then things will come in over a couple months. YMMV.

What's frustrating is that the medical exam gets requested up front in so many cases, but then the BGC and everything else takes forever. They should really be asking for medicals 6 or 9 months in so that they don't expire before the application process completes.

I applied dec 2016 and AOR 1 and sponsor approval came in about 3 weeks later.
File transfered to mexico by end of Jan 2017 not sure if that letter counted as aor2?
Got another type of AOR in March from mexico to say they were processing our file, and the interview was held end of oct 2017, approved from there.
That was their time frame then. Maybe they are busier now?
