'MEDICALS SENT'-------London CHC------Waiting for Next Stage (probably PPR)

I sent medical on 11 Jan 2011 London VO. Received forms-application form, dependent forms, PCC and Right of landing fee on 11/2/11 and sent back forms on 12/3/11.

On my case enquiry on 3/4/11 got reply "File awaiting officer Review. You will be informed if more information is required."

Could you please comment what this means in light of when they may issue PPR. What is the stage of the application? Ecas shows "in process" since July 2009.


Seniors please reply. I am interested to know what they mean by "File awaiting Officer Review". Does it mean that background checks are complete? Are medicals OK or may need furtherance. When can I expect PPR?, The ecase does not show "Medical Received,

Just a bit of info. I personally visited Aramex Kuwait office today. Acc. to them, it is Aramex Abu Dhabi that has a contract with the London VO for couriering of PPs. As for Kuwait and any other GCC countries, it can be any courier service that the VO wishes to use.

Now, have to gotta wait for the call from DHL or Aramex or.......???? donno which one....

CONGRATS for getting the PPR.

rgd ur PP back- plzz check ur ecase , whn u see "Decision MAde" it means ur PP is stamped. from tht day after 2-3 days u can check with Aramex. Ur PP wil come to CHC Abudhabi via internal courier and from there it wil be handed over to Aramex for delivery.

i suggest you !!!! go to western union hawally branch , they have contract with DHL , send PP through them and don't let them know that u r sending passports other wise they will charge very high price....(one of my colleague did the same) when u will receive passports it will come through bahrain and they will call u (through some corrior ) to confirm address and delivery... upon delivery u ll pay the service charges which will be around 36 KD...this is i am telling u based on real experience 5 months ago with my colleague ....Good Luck

Awaiting review means your file is still in queue for further processing, in other words, your file isn't being looked at this time.

Once they review your file, they'll check the medicals and if medicals are OK than your ECas status will show medical results have been received.

I would say although not sure that at this stage, it may take another few months before you receive your PPR.
