I've just been notified it's time to do my medicals. 1. Does CIC access my medical records from country of origin 2. if so, do they use them to compare with these immigration medicals and 3. if so, how many years previous would they be interested in?
Thanks!

They ask you to declare if you had any medical conditions or if you are on any medication . they dont themselves go looking for your history .

So if CIC is not researching medical history from home country, is there any need to disclose any of that information?
I have a family member included on PR application (made Sept 2012) who has since been diagnosed w/narcolepsy. They are living and studying in our home country, the US. They will get their medicals done there. I know they are asked if they take any meds/have any medical conditions.
I believe narcolepsy is considered a sleep disorder, not a "medical condition". However, they are prescribed Adderall for it and it's the only med that works for them. Do the medicals typically include drug testing? Is there really any need to disclose this? If they are denied will our entire application be denied?
Thanks very much.

Yes, you should disclose any medication and there is no harm in declaring it . I myself take medication and have declared it. Usually if you take medication it could show up in blood test so its better not to take a chance .On the other hand you dont have to worry about it because CIC is looking for serious diseases .

Hey i wanna know something ,
i did the medical exam for austrilia study permit and they spotted a scar and then later they asked me to do a TB check then I did it and after TB check I was clear and I didn't had TB.But unfortunately my visa got refused but not due to medical. Now i am going to apply to Canada, will they again ask me to check for tb?I mean i did tb check on sept 8 2022 and the report is still fresh .As to check if one has tb or not they have to go through 3 months process. Now can I show IRCC the same TB clearance report attachedc to the medical which I will do for canada?
