Looks like visa officers are behaving just like traffic police.
Traffic police always gives more tickets end of the month, just so they reach their quotas.....
Looks like officers are filling up their year end quotas after been lazy for all year...

;D

Hi Raj84,

Thanks for sharing your valuable experience.
I have just requested new fingerprints from RCMP. Will hear from them in 7-10 business days. This time I will send it by myself to to make sure thing is going the right way.

May I know how did you manage to get your tracking# if it was forwarded by RCMP? Did u ask them for the tracking #?

When i mailed them through fedex then i got tracking # not from rcmp

I leave Vancouver on Jan. 4th(Wed) 2012 @ 7AM to Toronto.

From there, I will rent a car and drive to Buffalo(approx. 2hours and 30m).

I will be lining up 6am on Thursday at the door to be safe. After I get it stamped,

I will drive back to Toronto and fly back to Vancouver on Jan. 5th(Thurs) 2012.

I can send my fully paid and booked itenary fom expedia.ca if you want.

And check your inbox in this website. you will find my email address there.

Thanks!!

May I suggest, you cross border at Vancouver to US and fly domestic to Buffalo -> price will be cheaper. It's just half price like you said.

Sometimes they come up with stupid deals in USA....i.e $99.00 one way within any US cities.
Looks unrealistic, but i have flew from buffalo to Houston 2 years ago on that deal LOL>...
See of u can find one lol

Wish we have that deal in Canada, so we can set up a meeting for new PR in this forum. That sounds fun!!!

I already paid in full and tickets are not refundable nor trasferable.

just to give a remedy for myself, I had lived in Torotno more than 5 years,

and I can drive from toronto to buffalo with my eyes closed.

I know the routes and I feel more comfortable..

BUT if I could refund it and could buy tickets at lower cost,

I would feel more comfortable.. for sure.. :D

Hope this should be ur best gift of Xmas

My CIC website just show application received. This status has lasted for more than 10 months. It's been 4 month after the medical examination reports sent. When I email them, they tell me "Your application is in process". Then, I email the specific buffalo vo, she said "Your file is still in a queue awaiting officer review. This is unlikely to occur for at least two months."
what's going on? Did they lost my medical report or something else?
why it takes so long? anyone knows? :(
