yes, it just show we receive you file on march 3....

Please share your timeline so ppl can more ideas about your case. If VO officer stated that in process, so it means IN PROCESS or queuing to be processed.

If they need more documents, they will send a letter to request but you did not receive anything so I can assume your application is under processing.

@mandy4you

Recently buffalo replied me similar reply ---as stated below

We have now received the medical results for you and your spouse.
Your file is in a large queue of files awaiting review. You will be
notified of the next step in processing in due course.

At least, they told you received your medical results.
I asked them whether received our medical results, they just answered me "in process" :(
How did you ask them?

Hey congrats. Told you their "couple weeks" is actually "couple days" in your case, I guess I can read their mind but to become an IO, I would have to start with clerical positions at Vegreville first to step into the door :D

As for quick passport return. First and foremostly, I had a good reason for that request. Then I attached a note explaining my situation with the passport, and I also emailed them after they receive it. I chased behind them. I kept my eyes on Buffalo, on Canada Post, on CIC local office all the time during the process so they can't delay.

So, PPR on Nov 25. passport received at Buffalo Nov 29 (because of the weekend, if not I would have got my visa even sooner). visa stamped Dec 2 (3 days after receipt). passport returned Dec 7 (5 days after visa stamped, their mail room staff is not very efficient, sadly, thats why you are recommended to mail things directly to buffalo, not fort erie). passport received in Calgary Dec 8. Became PR at local office Dec 9 - end of the journey!!!

Do you see how I pushed everything forward? Thats how I got things done at the pace I want. But thats not good for your heart, you will get stroke easily so don't be like me :) Lots of people in Canada with similar lifestyle (always chasing things) like me have heart and stroke problems, thats why I decided to go to Mexico for a week to lay back after all these. And here I am, chatting with you guys from Mexico hehe

TRUONGAN !

I need your advice on my case. i think ur words come true so please say something for me.

I wish you all the best and you will get what you want in the Christmas holidays. If you have cleared PCCs and if they told you there is no missing document, email "that person" every two or three day, insisting to her the fact that THERE IS NO MISSING DOCUMENT and YOUR APPLICATION WAS RECEIVED IN DECEMBER 2010. Then sit back and wait for the miracle that will happen during or (more likely) right after Christmas.

You will get the present, not from Santa, but from Catherine :)

I disagree with that. When you email, you should state all necessary personal information. Second, you need to write details and ask them nicely.

It's just normal when you talk with your friend but in formal way. Just one line? VO assume you don't care or you not polite enough or lack of information so take time for them to retrieve your application.

Mine was always received reply the next day or latest are 2 days only.

Did MOrgan get his PPR yet?? I didnt heard from him..

I emailed Buffalo yesterday and today they replied " Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

I guess I wont be seeing my fiancee anytime soon :(
