I emailed Buffalo yesterday and today they replied " Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

I guess I wont be seeing my fiancee anytime soon

Even I emailed Buffalo yesterday but got no reply today. I guess have to now wait until January!

everytime,i send an email to the general mailbox, and always received a standard response :-[

Me too.. I think PPR for this year are done. January 2012 should bring in a lot of PPRs as it seems they are working on files from Feb and March...

Received GCMS today for my request a month ago.

Buffalo Immigration Manager is the one who processed my case. :-X She completed security screening on Nov 25, and sent out PPR to me on the same day. she was also the one who took care of my visa stamping. I must send a Big thanks to her. I am very surprised that the manager actually work on our files, too and she is quite efficient!

Guys, they take note on GCMS of every single complaint we send to their office about the delay in processing time. So be cautious, don't send them so many emails!!!

Hi Everyone, i am an newbie to this forum. I am a 2011 april applicant now waiting for my PPR

Just a question for those of you got PPR from Buffalo recently (Congrats.), did you guys also get a request of your employment letter, pay stub or something else to show them you are working in the company which nominated you.

Few weeks back, we got a reply from CIC to go for sputum test for one of my dependents and after going into sputum test the result is out today confirming the active TB (not the infectious) even we got surprised because there weren't any noticable symptomes there. The nurse at the LAB was explaining about the process and process is of 6 months and every month it will be checked the progress and the medication is started from today.

We are little worried here and got few questions, will this cause any problems in our immigration process and by how long it might delay our process now? Sorry if it is irrelevant posting. Thanks for you suggestions in advance.

Dont worry for your immigration to Canada

You will get your visa but you should have to wait more six to eight months from now

You please start treatment for the same as this TB Treatment take atleast six month and in this six time you should have to take X Ray report in every 3 months and final one will be taken on six month end and sputum test too and this all willl be send to Immigration Department at YOUR VISA OFFICE so they will issued visas for your now days just you need to go for TB Treatment nothing more than that you can do to do just wait for six or eight month from now and finish the treatment

Hello shinji if ur file gets transferred to Detroit then u have 99% chance to receive call to employer, pay stub and all other u mentioned. Other offices normally don't unless they suspect anything you provided.

no not yet. I just checked . When did u sent it? If decision is made in ecas that means ur visa stamped. Now u have to wait till that get to fort Erie post . I wish I get mine soon. Did u sent any email anywhere?

Hi there,

I sent my package on Dec 7'11. I did not send any emails to the consulate and waited patiently for them to their work. I am not sure about Tanoshi.
