Mine went missing last weekend, but my Status for ECAS remained the same. Did yours act the same way? PPR is near for you :)

Your visa and COPR have been printed and stamped on passport. Passport is now sitting in the mailroom or is on the way to your home. Blame the holidays.

But congrats, you finally made it. When did Buffalo receive your passport? Did you say Dec 7?

Hello friend, my address disappeared from ecas sometime yesterday too after I sent an email inquiry last thursday. But status remain the same. I wonder they're working saturday in buffalo, Hopefully they're working on our files and receive good news before the year ends or early January 2012. Any encouraging advise from the lucky seniors (congrats though)?

I dont think its like they are working on the files on saturday. I believe they work on files in a big batch, so when all the files of that batch have been updated they need to make the change on ECAS. I think they decide to make the change over the weekend for some reason.

from what I understand visa offficers update file during the working days into their software.. but the system takes a specific time of the week to update that into ecas in a batch... it could be any day though

base on your experience brother, Is the disappearance of the address often means positive result and documents complete? and if yes, what's the time frame we're looking at until we receive passport request from buffalo? thanks.

there is no 'scientific' evidence as to how address disappearance would link to any 'touch' on PR file. However, I think address disappearance usually occur in batches, just like Medical, as they send out a batch for RCMP screening then of course each file will be individually reviewed and the time varies case by case.

thanks TRUONGAN, I got a mail from buffalo (nov 28) requesting my PCC from my home country (philippines), I submitted and they received it last dec 12, 2011. This is what the letter says:
"we have completed the initial assessment of your application, Please submit the requested additional documents, expect no interview when we finalize your application. Failure to submit this within 90 days could mean refusal to your application."
My question is, would this additional docs (PCC which they already received) completes my application and no more delays on processing? how long till PPR?

Junibarrago plz share ur timeline!!
