That's good enough. And I don't think that you are asked to write your name and DOB at the back. You can do so if it's required in front of them. Check your name and other info printed on your CoPR/Visa after receiving it. They will also tell you to check it. In my case, I did not check thoroughly being excited for my wife to get immigration and my last name was spelled wrong in my CoPR. Hence, I had unnecessary delay at the border while landing. It wasn't a huge issue, the border officer corrected it by hand and as a result, I couldn't renew my SIN until I got my PR. Any hand-written correction isn't valued at Service Canada.
