Dear all,

Finally 10 months after medical the ECAS changed to say "On May X we have sent you correspondence, please answer asap.." -- however I have not received any email?

Has anybody faced a situation where the correspondence was mentioned in ECAS but the email still did not come a few days after the date mentioned in the ECAS - was it mistaken email address, delay, or something else?

Thank you all for any advice.

Hi my mate
My medical request on 5 Jan 16 (I didn't get schedule A or RPRF)
MR completed on 6Jan 16
Ecas update " Medical received " on 9 Jan'16
After that I raised GCMS and gcms generated date is 18 Feb16 where is Shown
Eligibility: Passed
Medical: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Security: Hidden
Paper file location: Registry
After that I raised CSE on 5 April 16 till date have no answer. My question should I raise another GCMS or CSE.
I am totally frustrated. Would you please suggest.

Hi my friends
I got my RPRF on 06 may after long time waiting. I raised CSE after 32 days received ans with RPRF. So waiting for PPR.

Congratulations to all for RPRF req's.

I have a questions regarding RPRF and PCC, if someone can help.

I got a mail for RPRF and PCC together. While my PCC will take some time, should I pay for RPRF or should I wait for PCC. I hope my PCC should be done in 2-3 weeks and I have sufficient time.

Also, should we be sending Hard Copy of RPRF payment made online or only PCC are to be sent by postal mail ? The e-mail from CIC is not very clear.

There is no harm if you pay your RPRF right now as the receipt would be in PDF form and you can send it to your VO along with the PCC via email.
As far as the postage method is concerned, try to send it via email as well as courier. There is no harm in it and once the documents are delivered send the VO another email on the same subject that the document have been successfully delivered on date: xxxxx and signed by: XXXXX.

Please do include cover letter along with PCC and RPRF payment receipt and write that the same documents were also sent via email on XXXX date.

Best of Luck

Thanks for your ans.
But, I was curious whether it is mandatory to send the Physical copies of PCC and RPRF or scanned copies sent in e-mail are fine ?

Yes you can pay fee as you wish and you can send them PCC when they are ready. No issue at all. get ready to move to Canada in this good season.

Hello,
You do not need to go back to your country for the medicals. Once they requested your Medicals they provided an IME number that allows any panel physician authorized by CIC to perform your medicals and they send the results to CIC electronically. So go at CIC website and find a panel physician authorized by immigration closest to you and book your medicals. I believe that to know how to proceed next you should get in touch with the Visa office processing your aplication. I am telling you because my process is in my home country and I did my Medicals while in vacation in London as it had a due date for that!
Hope it helps!

Thanks buddy, I hope everything goes well. :)

How much time PPR takes after RPRF ?

Hello everyone,

I am HIV+ and I am currently on medication (Lamivudine, Zidovudine, Nevirapine) and have an undetectable VL. I ordered my GCMS notes and realised that I have been assigned a medical code of M5. I checked the Ontario Formulary and discovered that the total cost of that specific regimen is around CAD 2700 appox.

I have since sent a cost analysis detailing the daily, monthly and yearly cost of that specific therapy to the Medical/Immigration Officer at the local VO. I first sent a CSE and followed it up with a hard copy.

I pointed out the error to them and listed all the references for their own review and confirmation and requested that the correct medical code be alloted.

Do you guys have any idea what might happen next?

I also need the contacts of some very good lawyers because I am willing to fight this to the very end.

Thank you.

Mike.

Hi All,

Need some advise especially from folks who have received their PPR.

I have submitted all my docs in the month of Jan and it has been 5 months since my application is under review in progress.

Me and my wife are co applicants, but now my wife would like to go back to India from Singapore for couple of months for some urgent issues.

I would like to know if it is possible for her clear the PPR formalities from India instead of Singapore even though she applied from Singapore with Indian passport.

Thanks a lot for help and advise.

Regards
