'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

When does medical expire exactly ? I got my first MR on 28th Aug 2015. My wife was pregnant during that time.
So I completed all of my medical tests, my wife completed her , except the chest xRay. After baby was born, wife's pending xRay and baby's medicals got over by Dec 2015 and Jan 2016 respectively. 21st Jan 2016, ECAS status was updated to Meds have been received.

So when is the MR expiring for my case ?
Is it in 28th Aug 2016 or is it 21st Jan 2017 ?
Can anyone please clearly suggest ?

Hello andyCanadian your medicals will be valid till the september of 2016, as you are the primary applicant they will consider it from August 2015 only.

medical expiry date is when first medical expires from your whole family members. if your is expiring in September then expiry date on ur visa will be September for the whole family

I received my MR on 05 Jan 16 and I did it just after the day. ECAS shown my “medical received” (9 Jan 16.) As I saw the form or my friends received medical request with PCC request or background update papers after few days got RPRF.
But I didn't get PCC & RPRF. I raised GCMS and got the report. The report generated date 18th Feb’16. The report is very regular only security portion is hidden.
Usually people get the MR with background check request papers but I didn’t get with my MR even though after completed MR & passed 90 days. Anyone who is similar like me please share your experience.
I am totally confused would you please suggest me.

I have another question... Once I am asked to submit my & my dependents' passports for visa stamping , do I need to take them personally or these need to be couriered ? Also, in what way I am going to collect our visas ?

Your are just a few weeks, how longs say the letter you have to land in canada, you have to send the information that they did request,
usin a courrier, and the the passport will be back with visa like usually 2 weeks, congrats

The letter says "in order to finalize your application we need your passports and photos "

How long does it usally take for ecas to update my status from 'in process' to 'medical results received'?

I received a request for payment of RPRF and medical request on March 22, 2016. Paid for the fee the day after and had the medical exams a few days later. The receipt number for the RPRF is now associated with my account, but until now, more than a month after, CIC still hasn't received my medical results. My visa office is Manila.

Any insights would be very helpful. Thanks

MR completed on 6Jan 16
Ecas update " Medical received " on 9 Jan'16
After that I raised GCMS and gcms generated date is 18 Feb16 where is Shown
Eligibility: Passed
Medical: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Security: Hidden
Paper file location: Registry
After that I raised CSE on 5 April 16 till date have no answer. My question should I raise another GCMS or CSE.
I am totally frustrated. Would you please suggest.

Dear all,

Finally 10 months after medical the ECAS changed to say "On May X we have sent you correspondence, please answer asap.." -- however I have not received any email?

Has anybody faced a situation where the correspondence was mentioned in ECAS but the email still did not come a few days after the date mentioned in the ECAS - was it mistaken email address, delay, or something else?
