'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

Thanks Nekeol. My medical expires in about 6 weeks so I was just wondering if things could be done before that. Looks unlikely so am gonna try to be more patient

6 weeks are not enough for the complete process remaining part, there is possibility u will get grace period of 3 months are ......

Thanks for the helpful input. 1-2 weeks for PPR after docs submission was based on similar experience of another applicant from same stream (however his PPR2 is stuck now since 1 month ) but I may be mistaken.

I sent my email to you as PM, wont probably send PPR stuff but would be good to be prepared.

medical has nothing to do with DM, all process must complete such as medical, security, eligibility. therfore u should know the status of your case file where is that?

it is not necessary, generally medical starts with updated documents, and premedical is issued after security checks. nekeol

OK . THIS MEANS, if you are doing re-medical, you should understand that your background check is now finished......am i right Neakol?

re medical means your application is near to finalization stage.

Hi

You don't always get remedical. At times you may get the first medical after background checks or CIC does things correctly for a change and your background checks are completed before the expiry of your medicals.

CO will start working on your file and start security Back ground checks which may take 3 to 12 months depending upon many things, such as countries visited, countries living, name, and some other secret things not known to us. after that you will be asked to submit your passports for visa

(2) How long does IOM Lahore take to communicate medical results to CIC Canada & after how long of medicals does it get uploaded to "Online Status".

(1) After medical test, after how long are we safe from medical furtherance? (IOM lets one know within 2-3 days if there are any further requirements otherwise its considered safe)
(2) How long does IOM Lahore take to communicate medical results to CIC Canada & after how long of medicals does it get uploaded to "Online Status". (1- a week in case of not further requirements - 2. not timeline available...i have submitted PPR2 and medical line is still not updated in my eCAS)

Just wanted to share with you my recent updates on my case, on my signature, you'll find my timeline, warsaw VO has requested re-medicals recently for my kids only and not for us (reason is that they have lost my kids medical results when it was dispatched by DMP last year) now the thing is technically speaking my medicals are expired!! Unless VO have granted me 3months grace period. What are my chance that my application will be finalised within those 3 months?? Any previous cases or knowledge are welcome to be shared.
