'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

Dear All,

Any 2007 applicant in this forum who submitted medical and waiting for PPR? my application processing starts on sept 2007 and submitted my medical on April 2011 since that time waiting . I applied for GCMS notes also, as per CAIPS notes they recieved my medical but security clearance not recieved yet!
I send couple of e-mail to CHC London and everytime they replied that background check outstanding and they will advise once they will recieve BCG check clearnce. As per London office prcessing chart all applicants recieved before 2008 takes 87 months average processing time, for me it's now 77 months. Is this usuall time they are taking or something unusual? PLease advise what i should do now? i am now thinking to apply AUS imigration rather than wait for my whole life just for getting a response from CHC London.

I recently received update from LVO to submit updated forms and PCC although I was expecting PPR-1 after Medicals in March 2013. Would appreciate if someone can provide suggestions about the following:

• I underwent Medicals on March 18th, 2013. If by some miracle I do get visa stamped within next 2-4 weeks (after submitting updated docs, PPR1 and PPR2), what will be the exact validity of visa? I'm asking so I can be mentally prepared whether to travel in a rush or for remedical.
  
• At PPR1 stage, they only ask passport photocopies and updated info chart. Does is make sense if I send both these now along with updated forms and PCC (even if they didnt ask for it). I'm asking about this to save time as people mostly receive PPR1 within 1-2 weeks of this.
• Will LVO accept scanned passport copied and info chart when they send PPR. Again, am looking at quick response options due to crunch time in my case.
• Can someone please share updated info chart that LVO asks at PPR1 stage?

Thanks Nekeol. My medical expires in about 6 weeks so I was just wondering if things could be done before that. Looks unlikely so am gonna try to be more patient

if MR expired then mostly they are giving 3 months grace, but no more extension in grace period, i.e 15 month then u have to go for re-medical. wish ur urgent process of complete application.

If you are based in India/Pakistan (i.e. you will first get PPR1 and then PPR2), then the chances of you getting PPR1 are almost nonexistent (though miracles do happen). Unless you get an extension in medicals, your medicals will expire next month and CIC will not be able to issue you a visa in this short period.

Sending them now won't really benefit you. They just conveniently loose documents they have not asked for. They will ask for all this again at PPR1. I don't think your estimate of 1-2 weeks is correct, there in no evidence that supports your claim.

Yes they do most of the time. It is always good to send hard copies in the mail as well just in case.

CHC London has no control on background checks as it conducted by security and intelligence agencies. They won't even send reminders to them, if your case is taking to long. So until you pass security checks, sending reminders to CHC or sending CSEs will get you the same answer unfortunately.

after PPR1 they have 6 weeks max TAT to respond and 4 weeks after PPR2 for pakistani resident applicants. decision made status can be updated anywhere in between that timeframe.

medical has nothing to do with DM, all process must complete such as medical, security, eligibility. therfore u should know the status of your case file where is that?
