Medical forms

First of all, thanks to all who have answered my previous post. It is greatly appreciated! I have another question regarding the medical forms. We have just finished gathering all our documents and after I double check everything one more time, it will be ready to send to Mississauga. In the meantime, my husband has been through all the medical tests required and has been to the CIC approved doctor who has signed the forms etc. The doctor told him that he will be sending the forms directly to CIC and gave my husband a copy (which will be send along with all the other forms). My question is:

*since we have not already sent our forms, we don't have any file number or anything and the doctor will already be sending the medical results. I am not quite sure how it all works...I am assuming that once the form reaches the Paris VO, they will keep it there on file (it has bar codes etc.) and once Mississauga receives our application and accept it (hopefully), they will send the approval to Paris who will then verify if my husband's medical is there or not. Am I correct to assume so? My husband did asked the doctor who told him that it's the normal process, they send the results directly to the appropriate VO, in this case Paris is our visa office.

yes make sure the form is in your application package from the doctor.......the originals will be sent to Ottawa and then upon approval of your sponsorship the are forwarded to the applicable VO......usually once sponsorship approval is obtained you will see on ecas under the applicants name "applicated received on such and suc a date" and then "medicals received"....they get married up pretty quickly once sponsorship approval is done!!!! ;D
