Hello all!
I am an Outland applicant, I applied on the 2nd of August everything except BGC is completed on my PR tracker account.
But the medical column in GCKey went blank today and after checking I realised that my Medical expired on the 9th of November. I had uploaded the medical examination I had done last year.
I am waiting for the final decision and PPR.

My question is will IRCC request for a medical examination again has anybody been in the same boat ? Can I do upfront medical. Please share your suggestions.

Grateful

Medicals are good for a year, usually. How is your medical expiring only four or five months after applying?

As for what will happen: IRCC might decide to prolong validity, or they might order new medicals.

hello, thank you for replying.

I had done my medicals last year and had mentioned the same IME number in my pr application.
I am worried will this affect my application as I am waiting on a FD and PPR.

Will you suggest taking an upfront medical ?

Follow up to the above conversation.

Due to some issue with our previously submitted biometrics, IRCC has asked us to redo the biometrics and this will expire our medical results since they will be out of one year validity period

We are appearing for biometrics next week and medical will expire sometime next week as well.

should we proactively get another upfront medical done using same IME numbers or wait for IRCC to ask for an updated eMedical assessment?

Thanks Dksha for starting this thread.
