Medicals and PCC s should be submitted for yourself and all your dependants (spouse and kids), whether they are accompanying or not.

Hi! Anyone who has an experience with abnormalities in the lungs found in the chest x-ray? My hubby had his medicals yesterday and they found out he has a 4.1 spot in the lungs. he is a long time smoker . He will have sputum smear and culture starting next week and the test results will be known in May. Good if it will turn out negative.what if he is positive of TB? Will my application be refused?

Please share any experience or any knowledge on this, i appreciate it.

Hi Serc,

I have done my medical at SOS international clinic in Beijing. All tests were okay, except the lungs x-ray. The doctor informed me that I have slight pulmonary tissue change. She said me its nothing but all depends on the CIC panel physician. Normally this symptom is found in smoker and elderly people. I was a smoker and quieted only a month ago. I am in the 40s. So, a bit worried not only for Canada immigration but for my own future health. The Doctors at SOS clinic informed me that they have uploaded the x-ray film and other results. Lets see what happen. I wish your husband test result will be all right. Good is great.

Best wishes,

Eusufzai

Hi,thanks for the input...so ur physician didn't ask u to undergo further tests.seems it's going to be alright. Yes, they say the CIC physician will decide on it...we'll wait and goodluck too.

Hi all, I have a question regarding Applicant's Medical exam to you. Please help and suggest my friend as you best.

One of my friend has done her medical exam and she is the main applicant. She had a Tumor (non malignant) surgery 16 years ago in her upper abdomen in stomach. And after that operation to till now She is fully ok. Now she doesn't take any medical treatment or any medicine regarding this matter.

In her medical examination, requested by CIC, she told to the nurse about her operation (which occurred in last 16 years ago) when the nurse asked her about the pre-surgery history. When she met the doctor he asked her "is there any physical problem she has now? She replied no. Doctor hasn't ask anything her regarding the operation."

And she also not mention her surgical history in her any form by CIC. Because she informed me that, CIC has concern only the medical history of last 5 years. Also when she applied first, this issues has past more than 10 years.

In this situation, is there any problem in future like health card or any other things related to the health matter in Canada? Any Suggestion.....Huh?

Her ecase status shows "Medical results have been received".

Cheers

1 It will have no effect as it is no contagious nor will cause excessive demand.
2. As an aside I hope that you included your children in your application and they already were examined. If they weren't included in your application and you "land" you will be unable to sponsor them in the future,

What do you mean by "applied alone". I hope you did not fail to include your children as dependents on the application. If you did not include them, then you will not be able to sponsor them for Canadian VISA anytime.

Just now I checked online status and it has been updated fourth line as " Medical results have been received". I did my medical on 6th of this month. In General, how long it may take to receive PPR from now. Any comments and projections are appreciated. Thanks for your encouragement while I was a bit tense about my medical results. My VO is HK. I am a MPNP applicant.

Thanks and regards,

Presicely! I hope you had mentioned them as non-accompanying dependents. If you did not declare them on your application, it amounts to misrepresentation AND you will not be able to sponsor them.
