Hi guys!
My common-law partner had syphilis 3 years ago, he has done the treatment. But once you get Syphilis the FTA-ABS test that is used to detect syphilis will always show positive due to the antibodies. It's called the immunological scar.
So when we went for the medical exam, it showed positive and the consulate asks to re-do the exam.
Can Canada reject us based on that? He has done the treatment already and to get a proof he did it, he is undergoing the treatment again and we will submit the paper in the eAPR
Has someone any idea or went through something similar? please let me know, i'm really scared to be rejected
