Medical Exam

Hi,

Can someone help with the following.

In the checklist for Family Class Sponsorship IMM5491E, it is required that you provide your proof of medical exam with your application

But on the CIC website cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp it states that ...

Medical Examination Instructions
Instructions on how to take the medical examination will normally be sent to you after you submit your application to the visa office.

So can I send the application in without the examination or not ?

if you are doin it under family class you have to send it in wuth ur application or it my cause majory delay of app or they may send back your entire app because it would be incomplete so i would not chance it if i were you

Like icesfluffy your medical must be sent with your application, as part of the whole package ( assuming your sponsoring from outside Canada ).

I think what you were looking at was the inland requirement
Look at these check-lists:

Inland : cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5443E.pdf ( 9th point after " PHOTOCOPIES " says If you dont have a medical exam, instructions will be provided when you get notice of eligibility )
