medical exam before or after approval

When i submit the applications do I first submit the sponsors part and wait to get approved as a sponsor then the applicants part or submit it all together? Also, someone told me that after the sponsor part is approved then the applicant goes to do the medical exam, is that correct?

Sponsor application, Applicant's application and your evidence of your relationship get mailed all together.

For an Outland application, the medical exam is done before sending the application(s).

For an Inland application, you can defer the medical until CIC requests it, but it may cause a delay in your overall processing time.

We just submitted our application last week without the medical exam result. Is it ok if I will do the medical exam without the file number and then once I have the file number, we will just post the medical exam result?

Medical exam doesn't get posted. If the doctor uses the e-medical, it will be sent electronically to cic. So you can either wait for them to request it or you can do it and send the e-medical sheet the give you to cic and they will match it up with your application when needed that's if am right.

you can do either. right now it's only recommended to apply inland under certain circumstances. where is the applicant from?

It's hard to tell if you're saying that you are the sponsor, or if your spouse (who is NOT in Canada) is the sponsor.

The sponsor can be outside of Canada and still sponsor as long as s/he is a Canadian citizen.

If YOU are the sponsor, you cannot submit an Inland application without your spouse being in Canada as well.

im the sponsor and i live in canada, i will be sponsoring my spouse who lives in Lebanon. so would i fill out an inland or outland application? In addition, when i submit the application package should i include his medical exam or wait till they ask us to do it

You must submit an Outland application, because your spouse is not physically in Canada.

He should have the medical examination prior to you submitting the application. The exam must be from a CIC approved `panel' physician.
You can find a list of doctors on their website.
