I see that! Was your case at all special or uniquely easy to process (or did you get "urgent" processing approved)?

Thank you friend :) It was sorta weird, about a few days ago I checked ecas & it kept giving/showing me my old pr app as complete but then nothing about the citizenship application... that seems to correspond roughly with "none"s "in process" date... ecas is one hell of a weird beast... hahaha
same here. checked last sunday, old address and PR app as completed. No citizenship info.
Changed the address and cannot login any more for a week now... hopefully it will come back soon.

Hi everyone, the Received line in my ecas disappeared this morning.

My local office would be Montreal.
Hey admontreal :) thank you for the update, does the receive line disappearing really mean anything? I noticed on the spreadsheet that the IP to Disappear timeline for people is literally all over the place!

RQ= residency questionnaire
RQ issued when a triage factor is triggered from a list e.g. unemployment with travel or for quality control/ program integrity. To clarify the 1095 days you refer to are actual physical days as opposed to basic residence (PR status) days? What are Canadian certificate of enrolments? Is this a reference to proof of language?

Current CIC quoted time for the process from application to oath date for a routine application is 25 months, non routine 35 months for 80% of applications. Around Sep 2012 CIC started switching applications in process not long after receipt - this is because CIC Sidney carry out some of the processing that was previously done at the local office. Effectively in process doesn't show when your file is transferred to the local office so has become almost meaningless.

Given that Sidney now do the initial triage check for RQ issuance it means that if your file gets transferred to the local office (CIC removed this notification from ecas) without an RQ being issued then you likely won't get an RQ as any residence concerns should have been considered. You may still get RQd at test, post test say if you show up without passports and even at oath notice say if you want to re-schedule . So the key is finding the transfer date to local office. Call CIC agent they may tell you if no luck get GCMS notes they will show if this has happened.

I originally came to Canada as a student in 2007 and received my PR in 2012 however my IMM5292 is missing the original entry date and I hadn't noticed that until now. Do you think that will trigger an RQ? I have included my transcript and letters from my employers as proof of education and work with my application which I sent last week both show that I have been studying working in Canada since 2007.

Hi brbr,

I heard many theories regarding he disappearance of that line but I guess it's just some mecanism in the system, when some step is passed (like background check or transfer package prep) :)

Not sure if I can join this thread. I submitted my application for citizenship by descent (first gen born abroad, to a Canadian father) in May, it was received via tracking on May28th. I still don't see anything in the system using my online receipt number. I'm not sure if my application is opened on the same time line as yours, but if it is, it leaves me with not a good feeling.

This process is frustrating!
