It looks like this includes refugees as well (according to these two reports). Is there any data indicating that they will increase the number of refugees? The only possibility is that more refugees might/will prefer Canada over the US for obvious reasons. It is true that the system is non-ideal and quite unpredictable these days, but I can assure you that it is still very systematic and selective compared to many countries (including the EU and US system in some respects). Well, anyways... Hopefully, they will process our applications soon!

Has anyone applied for inland visitor visa ? I know our group is close to getting the final decision soon, however my wife might need to travel to our home country in the next month. Her initial entry to Canada was on a single entry visa, so she would require a visitor visa for re entry. She has an Open Work Permit and PR application stage is AIP

Just got the P1 email today.

My tracker account has updated the status of my biometrics, medical exam, eligibility and background verification to completed. Under the document status tab, I can also preview my CoPR details for its document number and expiry date.

I'm guessing your country is a NATO country ?

The background check seems to have been done very quick for you.

I see more people getting P1 and P2 emails these days (submission dates: May 1-10), but I haven't seen anyone getting their eCOPR (past the submission date of May 5). It has been a week for me so far. I assume that they will be approved in batches.

You are 100% correct. It seems everything up to May 10th is moving along.

Do anyone receive final decision on pr tracker or all stages are completed for 25-30th may inland application?

I'm probably panicking a bit but it's concerning how others from May 1 to 10 submissions have received their Decision Made and P2s whereas my spouse (also in the same date range) hasn't even received their BG completed! My spouse got what I believe is their P1 (the email where they ask for your name, address, current location in Canada, etc.) on Jan 8, and radio silence since then. Feels frustrating coming to the finish line and then falling behind. Is there a contact number to call them on and ask what's holding things back? Or any other suggestions?!

They probably process things in batches so they might soon send P2 to you. I don't think everyone in that range got their P1s yet.

Also, they don't always update all details along the process. I got my P1 and P2 but my tracker still says it is in process. Some people even get their PR cards although their portals still say their info is in review.
