yup I agree, doesn't make sense.. but how will we get randomly selected and emailed by IRCC? are they storing our email ids and sending us invitations since they know exactly when we want to apply for citizenship?

January 2nd applicant got AOR yesterday. They are processing online applications but slowly.

multiple early December applicants are scheduled to take oath on June 2nd.

i think it would be best to ask this question in the December forum and ask if any one applied directly in the link (like you did) and still got AOR, or everyone went through that link. I will tag two active members.

@Rijo02 @CCAI2021 guys can you please help out with the doubt.. @Goldenita applied directly through the online application link so he is worried that his application might be rejected - your thoughts and guidance please..

Few of my friends applied directly also.. I would say just open the link and refresh it few times, if the Eligibility part come sup that would mean you are selected. Once selected, that page will always come up since it will get stored in your cache in case they track the IPs - which I think they do based on the T&C while creating the profile..

Do you have a screen shot of how the Invite is supposed to look like please

No, check the December online thread many people applied using the link directly.

I do see few people getting through the December. But in general Online one are really slow?

To reply @svk1520 request, there is nothing like "INVITE" for the online application. IRCC actually lacked the right word to use there. I am saying this because I called IRCC to confirm. The invitation is just the random appearance of the link to apply online. One person in the Dec forum actually looked into the code and figured out that IRCC programmed the online application link to appear 10% of the time someone visits their website. Hence, if you happen to be lucky for it to appear when you check, then you are "selected" or "invited". What the Dec forum guy did was to "fixed" the link so we can always access it. I applied with the "fixed" link and I already got my AOR.

Hello Everyone,

I am waiting for reply from anyone on below message which i posted earlier but no response yet.

I am approaching time where i can apply for citizenship. I tried filling the application form and facing errors (Red Block against the date section) in following fields:

1- Question 9 - "TO" Date
2- Question 10 - All "FROM" and "TO" Dates
3- Question 11 - All "TO" Dates
4- Question 14 - Passport "ISSUE" and "EXPIRY" Dates

Anyone else faced such issues while filling application in pdf format on PC and how to deal with this ?

I have also seen that in the document checklist, its not mentioned to submit scanned copies of all pages of Passport. I heard, people submitting them before. Is that something changed recently, anyone has any idea about it ?

Do we need to submit copies of all pages with stamps or just follow the Document Checklist.

Question for those of you who applied online.

Did you get a digital copy of your photo? It says on the page that "You may upload a picture of a printed photo that the photographer took (for example, with a scanner or mobile phone)." so I just scanned the photo. Wondering if anyone else did that?
Also I didn't see it asking for a receipt, it just asked for the information of the photographer. Did I miss something?

I haven't submitted yet, so just wanted to double check that.

Hi, yes got the digital copy from the photographer along with the receipt and uploaded. I remember it said no scanned copy and receipt of photographer required
