This is my time line as per ecas
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 26, 2020.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 27, 2020.
  3. We started processing your application on December 8, 2020.
  4. Nov 4th Test request
  5. Nov 15, 2021 Scheduled for Test and completed on same day
what's the normal processing time for Oath after the test?

I applied in May 2020. Test in June 2021. Now requested for an in-person interview. Has anyone heard of in-person interviews after covid?

Done with oath on Nov 2nd. I sent the form right after the ceremony and no one contacted me saying they didn't get it. My application is still in progress though. Is it normal or should I call? Or send webform?

Thanks

Hi, when they asked you for the copy of the passport, did you have to translate the airport stamps that were not in English? Thanks and good luck

Yes I got everything translated. Airport stamps and any information in the passport that was not in English or French

Did they say why you have an interview?
I have been out of Canada living in the States since the lockdown. it was mostly to adjudge my intent to come back, ties to the land and ofcourse assessment of my spoken English. The officer was very kind and easy to talk to.

Hi FSerrano91,
Surrey office here as well !
I have a very similar timeline, with a test passed on October 7th and passeport scans sent on Oct 9th but I haven't heard anything back yet.

Just got an update today (Aug 9, 2021) on the new tracker that my oath will be on Nov 25, 2021. Scarborough office is a bit slow on oath but I am happy I got a date. cc: @rajkamalmohanram

Received oath notice/email on Nov 15, 10 days before the oath date. Just completed my oath an hour ago. Wondering if I should start booking a passport appointment at https://eservices.canada.ca/en/service/ before the citizenship certificate arrives? Heard that there is a backlog for in-person passport appointments in Toronto. cc: @rajkamalmohanram

I wouldn't book an appointment now. There is no standard timeline for the citizenship certificate. Can take anywhere between 1 and 6 weeks.
