May 2020 - Citizenship Application

I am a May applicant and will be returning soon to Canada as I will be vaccinated and am hopeful of getting my invite to do the exam soon. I wonder if anyone has crossed the border from the States over land and what the experience was?

Whether vaccinated or not, you need to quarantine there and negative test before entering.

Thank you for your response. I was specifically asking about people who have recently entered Canada by land. I know if you enter by land you can quarantine at home. I know that if you enter by air you have to quarantine in a hotel. At some cost. With the border between the US and Canada closed still for non essential travel, I was wondering if anyone had any experience they would like to share.

Per website, it seems PR can enter from US even for non-essential reason but citizenship related should be treated as essential(per my thinking). I still wonder if we need to get permission from Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) if immediate family is not in Canada.

I received Test invite to take Test on May 28. Even I logged into to take the test after in the test time window. But i am unable to take the test as it says i am not being invited for the test. I already sent an email to the email id listed while i received the test invite regarding this issue.

Just wondering if anyone is also facing the same issue and what would be the next steps after the email.

You haven’t heard anything on your application after AOR?

Not all December 2020 applicants got invites.. only selectees did. they’re testing the system to roll out massively m.

We just sent the application package thru Canada Post Xpresspost today and the lady said that there are significant delays on deliveries. Expected delivery date would be on Tuesday, May 5th. There is a tracking number given on the receipt.

Why didn't you apply online? It's way easier and fast.

if it's May 28 then you're trying to log in too early, probably the invitation link isn't available yet
if it's April 28, then wait for the reply to what IRCC says. Also search on this forum, I think I read somewhere here that it works if you open from a different browser. Good luck

if it's May 28 then you're trying to log in too early, probably the invitation link isn't available yet

And its April 30 to May 20 the test window. Not sure how long it would take for them to resolve this

Make sure you entered the correct application number and UCI.

If you entered the correct information and still get the message, email the office that sent you the test invitation. The email address is in the Rescheduling section of your test invitation."

Sure. I have sent an email to the Email Address listed in that Section. Not sure what would be the next steps. If anyone has gone through that please advice what would be the next steps
