We just sent the application package thru Canada Post Xpresspost today and the lady said that there are significant delays on deliveries. Expected delivery date would be on Tuesday, May 5th. There is a tracking number given on the receipt.

any idea howmuch delay in porcessing of citizenship due to covid? few months ?

Mine was received by CIC today too, I am from Windsor, lets see, but they did not stop issuing AOR, they just taking more time due to limited staff, ( may be I am wrong that is what my Immigration lawyer told me )

The expiry of your PR card does not affect your PR status. PR status doesn't "expire". Please read this to understand permanent residence status.

thanks. one more question- i took photos on 25feb,2020 for citizenship application, today is May 27,2020. I will apply tomorrow. is it ok ? or do i need to take photos again?
